What I got for Christmas was the love of my family. Not that I didn't have it anyway, but every so often it's nice to have it reaffirmed.

What I got for Christmas was a very special PM from JR that added to the respect I have for our brother of faith.

What I got for Christmas came early this year in the form of the new friends I made in Maggie Valley and some I have still yet to meet.

What I got for Christmas was being able to live up to my words in promising friends I'd be there for them as I spent countless hours being there for two dear friends battling cancer.

What I got for Christmas was the gift of life, the greatest of all God's gifts and I am thankful for every day I walk among my family, my friends and all of God's creatures.

Mi amigo Big B.....I liked so much what you said!!!.. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

PS I got in October a partner who rode with me from MV to Daytona  [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

Our Neice and Nephew gave us one of those cool digital picture frames...

I loaded it with pics from Cripple Creek and Maggie Valley...

[smiley=oops.gif] better be careful...I don't think I put any of the kids!

Pretty cool watching the progression of "me on the Dragon" Pics.

Hey Bill, I've looked at those and am interested in them.  Are you happy with it?  I have thousands of pics on my computer, we long ago stopped printing them - got boxes and boxes of pics we never look at, and I figured if they were in some medium like that downstairs where we spend most of time, the pics would have a better chance of getting viewed.  How many pics could you load on it?

Better get some of the kids interspersed with your riding photos.

I'm a little spoiled with the viewing angle of my Plasma so the LCD screen bugs me a little.  It has to be at the right height for proper viewing...meaning if it is perfect for you, it is too low for me.  This is the 10" Brookstone version...it has builtin 64MB, as Don says, it also has slots for different media, plus USB2.  So you can load up a memory stick at the computer, plug it in, and watch a slide show.

All in all, it is a nice way to use the photos from a digital camera.  Makes me thhink about setting up a computer with the plasma to do the same thing when we have guests but are not watching anything in particular.

Me too Mrs. We! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]
I saw them while shopping but really didn't pay much attention.  However, we have so many pictures stored on the hard drive that we hardly ever look at that I think this would be an excellent option.  Maybe I can find an after Christmas "deal".   [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

[smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]  Thanks Don.  Best Buy is sold out at the moment, but my experience with the electronics stuff is that if you can wait 4 - 8 weeks, the newest and the greatest is out for the same price as the door buster prices on black Friday.  Your right, at the price of the memory these days, I am forseeing that I could have memory chips set up in series, just exchange series as I want to change the scenary.  Sounds fantastic.  The bigger size would be better.  Glad I did not order the smaller one.  I am also so impressed that you Mom would sit through an entire series of pictures.  You know, our parents are from a different generation.  I know I am an antique compared to the ones comin out of our schools now, but I want to do several things at the same time.  Can't imagine just sitting and looking for hours.  The frame that can flip pictures sounds like such a good thing to me.  It would always be different.
