The Dragon it is not but the Trace has its own charm. I find it very relaxing and enjoyable. Laid back and serene. If you're looking for an adrenaline rush the Trace ain't it.
The Trace is what it is...a little curvy near Nashville, mostly flat and straight as one moves south.  Relaxing ride without a single stop sign, stoplight, and virtually no traffic.

Was a little disappointed in the Trace. Nice long sweepers & very little traffic. I guess I'm a little spoiled. Don't take this wrong, if I lived near I would ride it 2-3 times a month!!
Trace is ok, not enough curves, posted to slow, and to much law.  It's a nice ride once or twice, glad I did it.  Loveless was good, I felt the price was in line, just a little over the norm.

I much prefer the Blue Ridge Parkway, Foot Hills Park way and so on.  Those are roads that are fun over and over again.

If you find youself south of Nashville near Columbia Harley-Davidson around breakfast time you may find it worth the trip to Marcy Jo's.  Located in Pottsville, TN not only will you find some good vittles but you may just just entertained.
