Clearwater LED Lights?
« on: August 15, 2014, 12:18:27 PM »

Has anyone tried these?  The amount of light they put out is absolutely amazing: 6,000 lumens

It sure seems like a lot of money for lights, but they are about the same price as buying two Daymakers.   These are like 5X brighter.

Glen, the owner, is a friend of ours and a great guy. We have a set of the 6000w Erica lights on one of our bikes that remain on half power the majority of the time and only see full power when out in front on a dark night with no oncoming traffic. Well needed at times. The harnesses have a dimmer switch and can integrate into the horn circuit so the lights flash when the horn is used. They are a great system that use only the highest quality components and LED's which does make them costly, but I haven't seen anything out there that is brighter, of higher quality and less expensive.

I have a set of Erica's as well. These are real lights and not like the other sorry excuses for extra light available out there.

They are big and somewhat bulky but you can't beat the light output and the quality.

$40K for my HD was to expensive. The extra $1K for the lights is a steal. Worth every cent.

I'm all for better lighting, but aesthetically these need some work.

I agree. Could not make it look okay on the HD. Looks fine on the BMW.
