I just bought my 07 black and orange ultra three weeks ago and it went in for its 2500 mile service today. My 05 ultra I traded in had 49,000 miles on it. When I retire I will start to really ride.

Well,
   I'm totally embarased to tell you that my '05 cherry bomb has only 10K miles on it.  I used to do 12K/yr or so.....and am really pissed that I can't ride as often as I used too.  Things are looking up though.......I'll be unemployed soon.....and plan on making it up....

   Don't pick on my brother Beags. He's always helpin out someone - me, Hank, his nephew, playing Bob Vila on his house to keep Mrs Beags happy. It's just a phase. He'll be better soon. I remember once he rode 200 miles in a couple hours (yes a couple of hours - - - less than 3 by far, trust me) to get a new ignition for a bro while the rest of the club hung out at a brothel out in the Nevada desert - - - - and that story would get deleted on this site, so we'll skip the details.

Wasn't that the Cherry Patch???   Fitting name........Sold more than just a piece.......I saw the menu.  Meanwhile,  that was  the beginning  of a 850 mile day for me....I Hope the rest of the club had fun.........Mrs_Beagle was done at the end too.....On a Softail....nothing soft about it.......

Pop-in-law and club brother wasted a knee........was in a wheelchair the whole time.....flew another bro up to ride his ride home.........this is called fun!!!!

Oh the victories of ridin' with a 1% club.....

       The three week trip would have been 3 months. We'd have stopped in every burg between Dago and MV just to sample their bar stock   He did however meet up with me at Biketoberfest and got to meet my old bro Animal.

   That was criminal.........the fact that I rode 300 extra miles that day (total of 850+) to fix an electrical prob on a bro's scoot......and didn't get to stop in the Cheery Patch for a quickie.......Sucks.  They had sh$t on the menu that was plain wrong.....even for a twisted SOB like me.....that Sh$t was just plain  wrong.....make matters worse......people were piling in too get it!!!!!  I thought I'd seen it all.......not quite.

For me, local travel only and maybe a trip up and down the Pacific coast came to 6,788 miles, and I still haven't put my ride to winter rest {there is no winter in California, we ride year round if we can}.

Plus I put 5,300 on my Low Rider before I sold it for a grand total of 12,088 miles.

Every one of the miles was memorable. I just can't remember the first 12,000, ok?

11,000 on the 06 Harley SE Ultra and about 3,500 on my 04 Suzuki. Not bad for a northerner...  [smiley=smilie_staub.gif]

I just bought my 2007 black and orange 6 weeks ago and have 4000 miles on it. I traded in my 05 ULTRA with 49000
miles on it. It is great to live in central Florida where we can ride every day.
