Well, it just keeps getting better looking each time I see the Ultraviolet blue.....congrats to you neighbor (and first HD to boot) and thanks (I think.....) for posting the pics of this beauty.  SMHD should be getting one soon where I can put eyes on it myself.  Sho du look purdy......

If you have them bring it out in the sun you will be spending some money.

I guess they call it Violet Blue,  when you look at it in the sun there is a hint of the purple. but more Blue over all.

I've seen it in person in the sun. It looks more blue then purple.

Great looking bike!  I don't ever get the extended warranties on anything. Just my preference.

I did on mine and it paid for itself, luckily it was on things other than the motor, but with all the problems with the 110 and the 103 I would buy it again.

Thanks for the info.  I am at a coin toss between the silver and the blue. I am not sure if the Hard Candy has too much flake.  ugh

Looks good. I was waiting on the hard candy but might change. Saw the silver in the Keys last weekend. It looks good as well but might get boring after a while.

Nice pic of the batwing, that's a beauty! ... really shows the depth of the flames and paint, sweet! I'll have to keep an eye out for that color to see in person.

By the time the normal warranty has expired I have a solid bike (or anything). Over the course of many years I have more than made up cost if I have to invest a little that may have been covered. Consider also many times you have to fight to get the coverage and even then there may be mileage or other items "taken in consideration" on extended warranties.  There is a lot of money made on the extended warranties. Just my POV.

I am still debating on whether or not to buy the warranty..  I am starting to think the peace of mind would be worth it...

That's easy then. If it is peace of mind you're after then take out the warranty. I am not an insurance sales person but you cannot put a price on 'peace of mind'. Take the warranty and enjoy your ride.

Learned the "Hard Way" on my 07 C.V.O.  Luckily i participated in the class action lawsuit and won.  Got me 2 more years of extended coverage.  2 months after receiving my warranty, the engine grenaded!!!  I didn't even hesitate when offered the E.S.P. with my new 14 limited.  Just sayin...
