I was in Denver last week on business when I got the call that my bike had arrived. That meant I had to wait three days before I actually got to see it but my buds saw it and gave me a big thumbs up. I live in the Dallas area but bought the bike in Tulsa where they are move "customer friendly". The plan was to go to Tulsa Friday to pick up the bike and spend the weekend breaking it in with my long time friend who live there. Shortly after the bike arrived, he called to say I was going to be very unhappy with him because he had just broken his hand and could not ride for a couple of months. Long story short, I loaded it up in the back of my truck and brought it home without even riding it around the block. When I got her unloaded last Sunday morning and took it on it's maiden ride in my subdivision, I was astonished at home much power it has. Compared to my '04 RK Classic, it's like riding a sport bike. It took me about 30 minutes to decide the factory windshield had to go. I tested a RK shield that was 2" shorter but decided for my size, I really needed the full height version.
Anyway, here is the first picture. I couldn't figure out how to post more than one so I'll add a second to the next installment.
It has the new windshield, passing lights, passenger floor boards, highway pegs, and the tail light conversion kit to make the rear turn signals running/brake lights. All that's left is getting it to make some noise. I've been watching the posts and am still confused on what I can and can't do in that area.
