Gary, I'll be thinking of you as you have and recover from your surgery.  Technology is so much better now that you'll be up and around in no time.   [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]  Can't wait until we're all riding together.  You have a lot of CVO friends who care so much about you.  

Be sure to take your OCD pad and pen with you to the hospital to make a list of chrome that you want to add to your bike.   [smiley=pumpkin.gif]

If there's anything you need before, during or after surgery, let me know.  I'm in Woodbridge and made the trip to "Hooville" several times while our son was at UVA.  Be happy to give you a hand, detail the bike, keep the battery charged, etc.  ;).  Of course I'd probably not be able to meet your specs on the detail... ;D

Thanks Bro. I'll be absent a few days while in the hospital. PT will have other things for me to occupy my time while I'm there a few days. [smiley=whip.gif] Once I get back home I'll let everyone know how the new parts are working. Wonder if I can get the surgeon to take pictures and I post a step-by-step install? NOT!!!

Today is the day.  Gary gets stealth chrome.  Soon he'll be a physically healthier man than he's been in years.  Riding farther, feeling better, chasing the Mrs.  All things to look forward to.  A few bumpy days in between no doubt.  But good man that he is, he'll get there in style nonetheless.

Gary, hope your dreams right now are good ones.  Feel better soon!

Staff at the hospital just reported that the surgery went without complication.  No doubt they'd say much the same in most all circumstances.  But nothing untoward apparently.  He's supposed to be in room 508 "in a few hours" though I'd suggest not disturbing him or the family until at least tomorrow.
