I went with kury powercell and their crusher mellows..   Makes great power. They look great and the sound is just right,,  I can always hear the radio no matter how fast.  They are similar to the Vance and Hines but their mufflers are just right for me. Kury just came out with a new x pipe heat shield that looks really nice too.   Just my . .02. Stuart

So I read this on another HD site.  Will I actually lose power by upgrading the head pipes?  So freaking confusing...
"

Unless you are upgrading cams or anything above that you will lose power by changing the header on a 110. The stock header is dialed in so tight at HD you will lose both horsepower and torque if you change the header even if you use the SE tuner and dyno, just add slip ons to get the sound. I suggest the V&H monster rounds. The Hi-outputs eliminate back pressure rusulting in decreased torque. I've run many 110s on the dyno with full exhaust systems and slip ons win everytime. I'm sorry but that makes me laugh. "Dialed in at hd" Bwahaha

You dyno tune it when you do this? Cool it off any?

Cooled it off a bunch.  Right boot heel is no longer melting when it hits my heat shield.  Ended up at 92 HP and 110 lbs torque.  Not the highest I have seen on here but is respectable and the lines on the dyno are very smooth.  I am not a power junky anyway.  We rode the Highway yesterday to Iron Horse in Daytona and she ran beautifully.  It did quiet down just a bit compared to the slip on alone set up.

Thanks to everyone for you help.

That is not bad at all for torque and HP, and about what I said it would give up to the fullsac due to the Hi Output mufflers not having enough back pressure.  Its sill a good gain over stock.   Mine with the fullsac Head pipe and 2.25 cores is 114 Torque and 96 HP.  I am a power junky, which is why my CVO King has a built motor.

For me the slip-ons were about sound.  The head pipes and tune were about smooth performance and getting heat rid of the decal pop.  It really has changed the bike and made it more enjoyable.
