Scary and a little stupid
« on: November 24, 2014, 09:31:32 AM »

My Shop Forman had a good one for me this morning,

Him and his brother went hunting on Saturday
Joe was set up at one blind, his brother at another

Joe shot this buck, waited a bit like your suppose to,
then started walking up to it,

without his rifle!
but with his phone in hand ready to take his trophy photo!

When out of nowhere came his competition ! :o

and took his prize right out from under him
lucky that's all he / she took!

never, ever walk up to a "kill"?
without your rifle at the ready!
hell I never put my down

this is a true story happen here in Texas just outside Liberty!

I hate to break it to you Bromebe but that picture has been floating around the web for several years. Either your foreman is trolling you or you're trolling us.

Having been "born and raised" not far from Liberty ~by God~, Texas, I can attest to the fact that there are NO lions, or mountain lions, or panthers anywhere near Liberty except for the Houston Zoo... but there are stories that folks tell the young-uns.
There ARE bobcats.

Just for grins, here it is, published in 2010 on a Nebraska website

"Trolling" folks members or just one in general is not in my nature

what is in my nature and as helped insert foot in mouth more than once is taking others at their word, being a little to trusting and hate to say it
Gullible!

it was feed to me in such a manor and from a person that I took as "good at heart" with pictures on his cell that I was amazed, or hooked! from the get go
before I started putting two and two together,
was it actually hunting season for this type?
is Liberty known for such wild live?

this was just one of 3 others cases that made my day Crappy!

1. this
2. Bike shop call said bike was ready (good) could I bring cash! bad
3. insurance company called the house to talk about the quote for insurance on the "new Roush" that I did not take the time to talk to the
    wife about yet!        BAD!
and
4. others I passed the story on to then notified all of my need to Re-Cant! having their laugh at my expense.. I now have 3 bids on the table for
    Ocean Front property in Arizona!

But yep Flash is finally back in the garage after the Fire damage repairs!

Yep,
#3 really screwed my day up,
nothing I was trying to hide, just was trying to get all my ducks in a roll information wise before sitting her down and explaining the 30th car in 18 years I was buying that was going to be coming to the house after Thanks Giving!

something was said about,
sitting at the Card Table with the kids for thanks giving ?  :-\

At least you still in "the house" and not the "dog house"... just sayin... :)

Yea... what Haird said (that's what I get for catching up in the "recent posts" instead of actually looking in the thread. :D
