That may be it too.  I don't know........but I'm going to find out before I do anything else.  I just noticed Jerry's chart is dated March 2006.

Henry...whoever you order the PCIIIUSB from, just make sure they have loaded all the new firmware available, particularly the rev extender,as it will take it to 6200, even if the ECM flash did not.  With my flash, the rev limiter is still set on 5800, and I've hit it on several occasions  ;) :o

Henry,

Now that Terry mentioned the rev limit, a light bulb just popped on. [smiley=idea3.gif]  A real quick way to make sure he didn't load the "legal" instead of the "race" calibration is to run the bike up to the limiter.  If it's still at 5800, he loaded the "legal" calibration.  The "race" calibration takes it up to 6200.

Alrighty then.  I must have the race calibration as my rev limit is 6200rpm.  I've only hit it once, and that was just to see if it worked.  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Power commander says NOT to use the rev x-tend feature if you have the rev limit at 6200 set in the ECM.

That actually begs a question.  Is that recommendation because it would be wholly redundant and unnecessary offering no gain?  Or is it because it ups the RPM limit from whatever the baseline is?

Not sure why [smiley=nixweiss.gif] The manual just says not to do it if you have the HD stage 1 or 2 flash done to the ECM.

I was just pointing it out so it was not requested or ordered that way if you had the stage 1 or 2 download. You can turn the feature on and off however.

I have one that wasnt on the list?  Part# 34303-06/dt
Its a stage one download for the 103 and puts revs at 6200.
I thought the dt at the end stands for Dig. Tech. ?

Barry,

You're correct, the DT at the end signifies it is a Digital Technician download, as opposed to a cartridge.  As for the 34303-06 part not being on the list I posted, that's not unusual.  That bulletin was put out by H-D after they went to the 25° injectors on all Twin Cams, and may not have all calibrations listed.

If anyone seriously questions whether they have the correct calibration or not, have a dealer hook the bike up to Digital Tech.  Based on your VIN, it will only bring up calibrations which apply to your specific model (ie. Stock, Stage 1 Legal, Stage 1 Race).  My understanding is that on '07's it will only have the Stock and Legal downloads, with all "Race" calibrations available only with the SERT.

Renea and I rode up to HD of Columbia today and had Moose put the DT on my scoot.  I have 34303-07 Stage 1 Race.
