Rebuild tool to replace the o'rings?  Hmmm....  Didn't use (or need) a tool when I replaced the o'rings in mine.  How about you Twolanerider?

LOL....the tool was more for replacing the spring and plunger.  Wouldn't take more than a pick and a mirror to replace the O rings.

No, not me.  Wouldn't have even thought of needing one.  Only thing easier than an o-ring swap is me when I'm drunk.

I checked the breather tube, it's not pinched.  The smell hasn't happened since then, so I will chalk it up as an alien encounter.   :-\

maybe, just a little residual or spill tucked away in a nock or cranny from when the work was done. :2vrolijk_21:

Parts guy at my dealer told me that the o-ring is now a serviceable item, about $4 retail.

Of course I didn't think to pick up a spare since I was already spending over $600

This o-ring , I was told was 'square shouldered' and proprietary.Good to hear it's now available.
