New CVO 2002 FXDWG3 upgrades
« on: January 10, 2015, 12:24:59 AM »

I just got my new but used CVO, the pipes are very quite "changed out by the last owner" so wanting to upgrade the pipes thinking long radius pipes and get a stage one kit done, and change out my carb for a Mikuni HSR42 ‘Easy’ Carburetor Kit.

Im wanting to make her more powerful for the open road and a lot loader since she is quite, looking for recommendation?

Im also wanting to know whats a good high performance air intake for the Mikuni?

You could save money and get your CV carb a jet kit and a few tweeks and it will work just fine. As far as pipes go find the ones to your liking and adjust carb. This alone should get you a noticeable 8 extra HP.
