Arlen Ness Stage 1 v. 2
« on: January 12, 2015, 06:22:44 PM »

Just traded 04 RG for 2015 CVO. I'm looking to replace the stock air leaner for the round Stage 1/2. I already changed out mufflers with Freedom Performance. What is the difference in the two, other than obvious size of cleaner? Do I need the Stage 2 due to the size of the motor? I'm looking for best performance. Other than mufflers all else is stock 2015 CVO. Thanks

Stage 1 will work fine. More importantly will be a tuner to modify fuel delivery to compensate with the increased air intake and free flowing exhaust. The TTS Mastertune is the first recommendation.

thanks. that seems to be the consensus. i purchased the Stage 1. Acconding to Ness, you only need the Stage 2 if you start going into the engine. which i did with my 04 RG.
