TO be clear the I had done several sets of twin cooled heads that where off 2014 103 CI  bikes. The twin cooled head does have a chamber that is very much like the XR1200 vs the normal bathtub.  However the heads we had checked where 84 approx CC.

Now in the last month we have done 3 2015 limited bikes. All had the head removed and I checked every one of those. ALl where in the 80 CC range.

SO I would use the 80 CC number not the 84 cc number if you are dealing with a limited.   I feel that being the bikes we got where first year run that you get what you get.

Example have had several bikes here that have had two different cams installed in same engine. ( HO and non HO cam's)  What should or should not happen is any one guess.

Now I did check with another shop that has done a dozen or so of the limited bikes and they are seeing 80-81 cc chambers. . That is what I know to be factual.

ALL data is about the 103 ..

I got a left over 2014 CVO, hoping I got the smaller size for the bump in compression. What is the xr1200 head? better or not to bath tub?

Also trying to clarify...when you say 3 2015, were they 103 or 110 heads? OP was asking 110 but some mention to 103 in thread....

CVO 110 did not get an increase in compression. it is only the 103 that did. as that got asked early on in the post..

So for the record CVO heads 95 cc chambers as they have always been

Limited twin cooled 103 bikes are 80 cc

UPDATE

I have a 2015 limited here and these chambers are smaller  F 80.5 CC R 80.1 CC . I may have gotten a fluke or the first  several off the line as they where all 2014 bikes ??  SO

I checked stock head gasket compressed thickness  .045  Piston is .006 down in the hole  so 10.1.1 for this build..

SO please use this new info , as I just completed 3 more of theses twin cooled builds, and wanted to make sure that the numbers are all matching..  Makes sense as to the reason the tq numbers are so good on the new builds in combo with the better than older stock cam.

The right information here. Wet heads are small on the 103 and actual compression stock is in the 10.2:1 area nominal.
With that said what is the consensus about squeezing them a little higher than our defacto standard for the air cooled motors?
