Hello from South Carolina
« on: January 13, 2015, 10:12:21 PM »

Hello everyone my name is Gary. I am the proud owner of a SE street glide that I purchased new in 2011. My wife and I take frequent weekend trips throughout the year and try to put as many miles as we can on the bike. A couple of years ago my wife became interested in riding her own bike locally. After a short stent on a starter bike, she purchased her first Harley last year. She rides a 2014 XL1200 custom. She still enjoys riding two up on the longer trips but she now rides her own on the day trips. Last month I purchased a 2015 Breakout. I've got big plans for this bike. It is going to be my winter project and when I'm done this bike will primarily be ridden locally when my wife is riding hers. I've owned several Harleys over the years and know just enough mechanically to get myself in trouble. I have customized several of my last bikes but have shied away from doing some of the more difficult work myself. With this breakout I intend to make this the first bike that I customize and do all the work myself. That leads me to how I ended up here. I'm not much of a computer guy but I recently joined another Harley forum so I can pick the brains of the members when I get myself in trouble. After trolling around a little while I found out about you guys here. So now I'll have even more brains to pick.  I'm looking forward to all that this site has to offer, making new friends and who knows, maybe I'll have some helpful info to pass to someone down the road.

Welcome to the site from The Lowcountry of South Carolina!
I hope this may be of interest to you.
Attending a GTG is the best way to get to know the members and put a face to those screen names. Many a lasting friendship have come out of these GTG's,
So. if you want to meet people, ride some awesome roads, kick back and have fun, come to one or all of the GTG's. ( For the newbies out there, GTG = Get Together )
Make your plans now and avoid the rush. In other words, stop pondering and get a hankering and make reservations and attend.
See ya'll there.
The GTG's are in the event section of the board.

Again Welcome
Mike

Welcome to the site from a Sandlapper, but now a Tarheel. Once you spend time on all the Harley sites....."This site will become your go-to place for info w/o BS" One more thing, you are NOT allowed to talk about the Cocks when they are playing my Clembone Tigers  :huepfenlol2:
