« on: January 19, 2015, 06:31:37 PM »

If you want to hear at higher speeds prolly best to upgrade amp and speakers. Some of the best cheaper money spent IMO would be to add the tweeter pods up front. As in Hawg Wired. I listened to Ernie Zapp's with his hand over the tweeters then removed hands and wow larger amount of sound right up front where you can hear. Speakers in the lowers would be a good addition. I really don't think you can hear significant quality sound from them unless you spend the big bucks which sounds like not what you want to do. Good Luck in your decision.

Hi Kojak, I wouldn't want to spend more than 600$.

Thanks Rooster for your comment, but I'm not sure what brand of tweeter I should get, and if I need to buy another amp????

Hey smkymtnboy, Headsets are definitively not my cup of tea but thanks for the help.

The two I know of are Hawg Wired and Hog Tunes I believe. I like the Hawg Wired stuff better They both have pods, and they fit on the left and right of the top of inner fairing.

Take a look at the Hawg Wired 6-Pack set up.

Its right at your price range and you wont be disappointed at the sound/performance.

Harley just came out with boom audio 2, a 3 way speaker, it takes one four channel amp to run two speakers. two channels run the woffers and two channels run the mids and highs.
