Lake Tahoe/Death Valley 2008........

This will be a photo ride report of three pages of photos taken in the order of our ride. 

We (AK, MotoMichael, Terrie and I) left my home Friday at about 4:45 p.m. and got back home about the same time, today (48 hours) and rode 1,001.7 miles.  We went up Hwy. 50 to Lake Tahoe and spent the night at the Horizon casino.  Holly caught up to us early the next morning. 

The ride also included Mt. Whitney.....the highest peak in the continental US at 14,495 ft. to Death Valley, 282 ft. below sea level.....the lowest spot on the North American continent and only 177 miles and two and a half hours from the peak of Mt. Whitney.

This is AK riding up the foothills past El Dorado Hills......
