Killed the cat
« on: June 18, 2009, 12:03:18 AM »

Picked up a Cat pipe from my local dealer for $150 and did the surgery. Its, about an hour and a half project and the only way to remove the cat from the front jug. Can't be done with a core cutter. Only the rear will benefit from that program. Off for ceramic coating tomorrow. :drink:

Super pics , thanks , makes it a little clearer where the flow slows down when drilling out the cat .

Dracula,  take a look here:  Jet-Hot coating on my new non CVO headpipe

The ceramic coating holds in the exhaust heat for better flow and comfort.  The extent of which I'm not sure of but there are various opinions.  Some swear by it.
