I'm considering this purchase also...could you please post pics of the mounts when you get them? Thanks!

I just got my Headwinds passing lights. I just installed Vance and Hines chrome hi output pipes, so now I'm going to have dealer dyno tune, get my 1000 mile service and have them install lights while it's there. I will post pics as soon as I get it back. So hopefully with the new bracket it will not hit lowers.

Got my bracket for the headwinds spots and installed my lowers - the turn signal lights are slightly hitting them.  For those that have installed the lowers is there a trick to it?

Your lowers are adjustable just a bit.  You can loosen the bolts and slide them just a bit, inward or outward (which will also move them just a bit forward or rearward, also).

Those are really, really nice lights and if I were going to put the driving (spots, passing lamps....whatever you may call them) lights on my bike, it'd be those!  Still keep the clean lines on the front of the Street Glide that puts the Street Glide a couple steps above the Electra Glide model front end views. :2vrolijk_21:

When you get them all dialed, be sure to post pics because we all know the unwritten Rule #1 on this forum..... :worthless: :worthless: :worthless: :worthless:

I have had the headwinds setup on order since march and still waiting Tony at Headwinds is keeping me updated that they are almost done. Hopefully they will be in full production mode when mine get sent out. I sure hope they are worth the wait. It's all due the the mounting bracket.

Have the new mounts from headwinds.  Have them installed with the lowers.  About 1/8" clearance from hitting the Lowers, while acceptable I will be giving headwinds a update as they requested on them.  While I am no machinist I think there is one more place that a little clearance could be had. Sorry about the quality of the picture (if it gets uploaded) either bike is dirtier than I thought or my lens is dirty.  :nixweiss:

Received an e-mail from Randi at Headwinds that my passing lamp kit had been shipped. Will post pics after installation.

I installed them last night..I used the acc switch too turn them off/on..the  spots 35watts 2inch and turn are 1 3/8..Rode last night with the lights while it was raining they lit the sides of the road much better and throw the light beam about 25 to 30 ft up the road..Rem they are only 2 inch spot..Durning the day they can be seen by oncoming traffic...
