An unidentified source told me today that a certain H-D dealer we all enjoy bashing for selling CVO's for $5-$6k over MSRP is a convicted felon and H-D Inc has a rule that a convicted felon CANNOT own one of it's dealerships. Therefore, the obvious is that this person we all love to hate is in actuality NOT a dealer.
Who knows, but this was only a misdemeanor:
From the website of a law firm:

Bruce Rossmeyer
Bruce Rossmeyer, one of New Jersey’s largest automobile dealers, faced forfeiture of his multimillion dollar automobile dealership based on an indictment charging him as a member of a cocaine distribution conspiracy. After a two-month jury trial before Judge Ann Thompson and a jury in the District of New Jersey, the prosecution requested a mistrial when the jury commenced acquitting various co-defendants. The prosecution subsequently dismissed the felony conspiracy charge, thereby foregoing any forfeiture claim and Mr. Rossmeyer pled guilty to a simple misdemeanor possession charge -- a plea he had offered at the inception of the case.
