Good for you Fuzz!! The kids call it "Cape Coma" but that's all right. You'll enjoy it, 'specially come January. Oh, and watch Roland's place w/ Mike and Lisa. Somehow it turns into a whole day :-)

John ever ride up A1A from Lauderdale? Probably went right by my house.
A lot.
Actually we rode down A1A from Singer Island, and Palm Bch. to Boca last Saturday after a back road ride up on the east side of the lake.

Keep an eye out for the 4 - 6' Lizards that are taking over the depressed canal area of Cape Coral. No kidding, do a google, killing dogs, cats etc. Apparently a problem for along time then when people started loosing there homes in the crunch the lizards just starting growing a much greater rate.  Otherwise a nice area, We ride down to Doc Fords and Cape Coral and Ft Myers Bike nights which are very well attended.
Good luck, I moved to FL 20 years ago, best move ever.

Lizards, Aligators, Ducks, These are all not an issue its just what the people from the North say about South Florida because their Jealous of our all year around riding weather. I'm surprised you haven't heard about our Killer dreaded Hurricanes and Shark infested waters yet..lol
Ken said it best, The Florida dragon 3 turns in 318 miles. We are all about strait and flat down here brother.

I don't live in the north, I live in south FLorida, Use your computer, the Lizards in Cape Coral are for real. I have seen them and they are not intimated by humans. UF or USF was working on the problem but to my knowledge nothing has came of that.

I think the house is about 6 to 8 feet above sea level. The only hill I'll get to see is the one from the garage to the street. :coolblue:

I have friends in Cape Coral. They have only been there a few years but seem to like it.Doesn't seem really congested, kind of laid back.
