Not sure where your comming from, but I was born and raised in South Florida ( East ) You are going to be 100 miles directly West of me. I have been fortunate to travel our great country and see all the beauties each State has to offer and could probably live anywhere I want, but keep comming home to FLorida. Scotsdale or Flagstaff Arizona would probably be the only other state I would actually live in climate wise.
You are going to be in a very nice quiet community in Cape Coral, lot of Blue Hairs so night driving will be safer and cooler.
Yes, its very hot and sticky and usually rains evryday in the summer months at about 5pm for an hour to cool things down but we ride 12 months around here if you can stand the heat in July, Aug and early Sept. If not buy a boat and put the bike away for those few months.
Welcome to the Sunshine State and like Miker said, shoot some of us an email and we'll meet you at Roland Martins Marina at Lake Okeechobee for some Drinks, Aligator tail and a good Cigar.

Rocky's place is called Burn. Here is a link to his web site http://www.burnbyrockypatel.com/. The Cape just had their last Bike Night for the season. Every Sunday bikers meet at the Mermaid lounge on Fort Myers Beach $2.00 Bloody Marry's from 9:00-12:00. I have lived in Fort Myers for 14 years. HD Fort Myers sponsors several rides. Oh and don't miss the Peterson's annual Poker run in September. (Miami to Key West).

Hope to see you around!
