I am interested in the backing plate as well.  I sent a PM to NorEaster.  I did the drilling thing on my RG last year.  Drill bit was moved a bit on the fender.  Not doing that again.

That's why I went with their 2 piece.   I'm not good with a drill.  :'(

Buffalo New York orig. been here since 83 so more here now then there
they sound quiet to me i had xtreme on my 2010 sesg with the 3.5 mufflers and i thought it was louder
but these are just fine when you crack the throttle it's sweeeeet
