Gotta tell you the old radios are better than the new ones. My 10 and my 12 were better sounding than the 15  I did have upgraded speakers in the old bikes but no amp. The CVO Ltd. has both speakers and amp and are inferior. IMO

A mast antenna will help... Ugly but effective.

The old Pioneer super tuners were great for grabbing radio reception. The New aftermarket radios just don't seem to grab reception. This includes the one's in my 14 and 15 car/truck.

I have the Alpine marine grade unit in my 09 SERG. It was awesome at first but nothing but trouble the last year or so. I like the Kenwood line, not sure which one but think thats what I'll be putting in this winter

Jimmy,  I went with a Sony (Marine) head unit with XM and USB port, 750 wat Biketronics amp and Hybrid Audio Technology speakers all the way around.

I could never get consistent FM reception, so I just went with XM.  Much more consistent and you never have to worry about finding a channel.

The head unit also came from Biketronics and they supplied the bracket.

Hey, I really like the looks of that.  I wonder if anyone makes a head unit that will bluetooth to my cardo scala headset in my Schuberth helmet?  My Sony head unit will bluetooth to other power devices but not to a speaker device.

'Just Bluetooth the iPhone directly to the Cardo, or directly to the HU...

I don't think there is a Bluetooth protocol that "shares" multiple devices??

I think your'e right, I sure haven't found anything that will do what I want.  What I'm wanting to do is to change tunes and volume from my handlebar controls.   It would sure make it a lot easier.  No problem during the summer when I'm not wearing a helmet or just a half helmet, I just use the head unit.  During the winter or when it's raining, I prefer the Schuberth, so I have to pair the Iphone to it.  Pairing is not always automatic, sometimes you are required to repair every time you get off the bike.
