I HAVE $5000 THAT SAYS I CAN DO IT AGAIN HOIST !
« on: March 07, 2009, 12:21:13 PM »

THERE ARE NO CHANGES TO MY BIKE OTHER THAN 16,500 + miles on the clock.
RECALL SUSPENDED UNTIL END OF NOTIFICATION TIME LINE.
YOU CAN GET 50 GUYS WITH $100 EACH DOESN'T MATTER TO ME, I'LL BE GLAD TO TAKE YOUR MONEY.

 I AM 61. I DON'T BULLchit ANYONE, I DON'T HAVE TO. I SAY WHAT I MEAN, AND MEAN WHAT I SAY.

Last Wednesday @ 4:15 pm, ambient temp 88, engine @240, surface temp probably 100+ and new macadam, speed @55mph, interstate hwy.  With a passing opportunity before me I decided to shift down to 4th and cracked the throttle and felt the familiar vibration coming from the motor and then transfer to the rear wheel.  This was going on @4000 to just over 5000 rpm's.  To my suprise there was no increase in travel speed through the whole transition  which was of some concern because of the encroaching traffic, until I hit 5th, and then it spun with a revolution or two of rear wheel till it locked up and launched and returned my confidence in the decision to make this maneuver.

My analogy, all there was in 4th was wheel spin.

In the begining of this relationship FXSTSSE & me, third gear in the power band would offer wheel slip whenever I wanted it, to a limited degree.  4th in the power band would make the rear end hop to a lesser degree.

WARNING: Just outside the center of the rear tire has less road surface and will offer more slip, which is why in this case started the slip and did not let up all thru 4th gear.

Another analogy:  In this forum we have mentioned engine vibration from this bike.  I believe this is due to the "Power to the Pavement Factor" when under load.  We have the only balanced 110(B) engine offered in any of the 2007 SE Classes.  I wouldn't have it any other way, rigid mounted and balanced.  I can feel more of what this bike is made of  and lovin every second of it.......

                                                  Semper Fi,

                                                     Jack

PS  Thanks again Skippy....... ("You're going to love this bike" !)  I really do.......   Jack

I'm fairly certain that on dry pavement there is no way I can spin the rear wheel in fourth gear unless I wound the engine up to max and dumped the clutch. Maybe there's more oil in your pavement than in my area. :nixweiss:

There is nothing on my bike beyond stock, than what I have listed.
Pump gas no additives.
40psi rear tire.

Sounds like you want in, so please send 79 Euros quick before the dollar looses more ground.
Send it to Hoist, in care of the Nonbelievers.  Maybe we can send you a movie on it, and I'll pay
for their time.

Sounds more like your clutch is slipping at higher RPM's. That's much more likely than a stock 110 breaking the rear wheel free at 4000 RPM (unless you were on an oil-slicked road). You ain't got that kinda power there Jack!

Hoist!

You can find my origional post on page 11
Listed below are the Nonbelievers from the origional post.

Hoist
Beerman
Rednectum
Silver-Black
Wizgee

My claim for this challenge is ambient temp comparable to 1st post.
Dry highway not recently paved & level.
If you insist on puting in the fuel 93 Sunoco, I insist on verifying that
the gas is 93 as I have found that qualities vary, even at my station.
I'll bring my bike to you guys, not on a trailer, and ride it home.

I got up early this morning and spent a couple of hours on my msg about
this and unfortunately the post was too large and lost everything.  I don't
feel like doing it again.

Aircooled, I don't treat my bike like that.

I'm in for a hundred.  Easiest hundred I will ever win.  Sorry Jack but it can't be done.  Must have been on sand or something. There is some explanation other than the wheel spinning.

I will tell you this quick story.
Last year riding down to Myrtle beach (in the rain) I had a similar experience.
Dropped down a gear 5th to 4th to pass a string of cars and roadway was wet.
I cranked down on the throttle and all I got was engine reving.
Clutch released and just pull back on the throttle and rpms go crazy.
I first almost filled my pants thinking that the rear wheel broke loose on the rain slick highway.
I tried several times with the same results only to discover that it could not be my rear wheel slipping at those speeds without the backend kicking out.
the clutch was slipping in 4th and 5th gear with throttle opened up.
I could not achieve much over 75 without clutch slipping.
I get to Myrtle Beach HD to have them check it out and spend the day there only to have no answer of what happened.
(they did do service 3000 mile)
only months later did I actually found out what had caused the issue.

this is the really stupid part.

wheels break loose in 4th gear by twisting the throttle only?  NFW
I will put the money up on that one.

CVOMOE,

Maybe It's taken me this long to get the $5000
after collecting all the aluminum cans & bottles
along the highway for 50 miles in any direction.
Come visit this part of PA, oh crap, I forgot to
get all the plastic !

Maybe after 16k I really know this bike ?

Maybe I'm the only one who knows what the 07
STSSE is really capable of with minimal equipment.

I hold a grudge for a long time.

FLHTCUSE3,

Thanks for going back and reading all my posts.
It would take an expensive film crew to set this up,
but that is one action that is easier now (in 4th) that
the rear doesn't hop any more and eventually gathers
speed. In 3rd also by just twisting the throttle the speed
stops advancing, and takes a long time to increase speed
and never really hooks up because guess what ?

I will not hold my service dept responsible even though
they have assured me, no clutch slip.

Sounds like you baggers have almost got to the $1000
mark.  So do I need to put the first grand in escrow ?

So tell me Hoist, how should I name the escrow acct ?

Here are a couple of examples :

1) This guy from Pennsylvania is affected by the water !
2) How do we get this lunatic out of the CVO ?
3) We need to change the amt, lack of response.
4) ?????

MY ideas:

1) The easiest $5000 I ever made!
2) My wife thinks she is getting half.
3) I'm in trouble now, my son is watching this !
4) ?????

Standard CVO FXSTSSE  dyno @69hp Aust version
Currently
Super Trapp 2 into 1 tuned exhaust
AC Breather
PC 111
SE260 cams
SE 10:5:1 pistons
Result over 100hp and TQ
This bike now goes like the the proverbial scalded cat, but cant do that.
I must have a crappy bike and tuner although I do weigh around 270lbs this might slow me down a tad.

I didn't realize that they had released the ultra limited edition nitro burning top fuel springer in Europe!  What you're feeling is called clutch slippage!

Actually this is called, "You haven't read this whole subject!"

This is old news, so I guess your in for the $100, $1000 ?

You name it !

Some people think I want a drag race !

This is all about, "Spinning the rear wheel, breaking
loose from a down shift at 55mph from 5th to 4th and
slowing down due to a full burn!"

Miker,

Some how you got between the replies.

We are not just talking about the motor !

Good, that means your in too ?

I think it would be much cheaper to believe the bike is breaking the rear loose in fourth gear and just leave it stock. Where do I get some of this Kool-Aid lol. I wanna get this springer on the dyno and see the numbers  :bananarock:. All I need to do now is ride mine stock until my clutch wears out lol.

I was surprised to see the thread back after all this time.

I find the anomoly of the moco over delivering on a single unit product more facinating that your hyperbole.

If it makes you happy, I am glad for you, other than that I reall could GAS about whos is biggest, fastest or most expensive, that school yard stuff is long overcooked...Ride on, enjoy your bike.   :2vrolijk_21:

So, here is the real question, how fast are you going to get 4th gear in the power band? 55? at least 4000 rpm's?

I doubt you can actually see the wheel spinning at those speeds? but you can see tire marks it would leave

Maybe on the downshift you have broken the wheel loose with the engine/brake and the wheel is actually skidding?

I can break the wheel loose on my big ole bagger shifting down to 4th gear easily, it is just that the wheel is going slower than the pavement.

I must say I find this amusing, (not even close to real, but amusing)

Sorry Jack,

I'm not sure if you're trying to be slick with this betting thing, but 55mph in 4th gear, on Dry and Clean pavement is not going to breakfree the tire wildly as you suggest with just a throttle stab.

Now, being up in the rust belt, I have no doubt if you're riding that thing on roads that are coated with salt and other winter debris, there a chance, but claiming it's dry and clean asphalt just aint happening.

I called my brother who runs a drag bike and even a ZX14 isn't going to do that without redlining it and dumping the clutch - Even then, it would most likely keep hooked up and just lift up the front end.

This so absurd, I'm not even sure why anyone is responding. Is this a trick answer, or are you just playing with people (and yourself?).

Nuts!

Ain't going to happen, maybe the clutch might be slipping, but you and breaking the rear wheel loose like that. I had a V65 that weighs 590lb, has 116HP, and if I did that it might get a little tire spin, but not that I would could notice.  But anyway, glad you like the performance of your bike!

Wow, 69 hp out of the box, that SUCKS !

Maybe you need a bagger to hide those buns !

Aust, Europe and California are the same i think and the rest except for yours are not much better

I should have bagger by next week but not for the reason you note

270 lbs = big  not 270lbs = fat
PS the springer is a keeper

I'm curious Jack. What do you have an interest in? I'm thinking a simple video of this amazing feat would be warranted. Certainly you can't expect everyone on here to believe you, since this kind of earth shattering power hasn't been duplicated with built up motors, let alone from a stock bike. Or maybe you paid a little too much for that "wonder" springer and you're a little behind on the payments, hence the need for the moolah. Or maybe you just need a hug and this is a cry for help. Whatever the situation, we're all adults on here, so man up.

Opee ;D

OPEE,

Just talked to the only person that matters this morning,
he is Godly, but not the Catholic priest across the street.

I mentioned I'd do it for him just for the "Hell of it!"

Find your spokesperson for April 19-20 in York. I'll be there
to take your ignorance home with me.

I'm not on the list because good riders come from a long way,
just to do this tour.

I am only a couple of hours away.

Like I said before, "Easiest $5 Grand I ever made."

Quote from: Jack on September 09, 2007, 10:41:26 AM

Jack

Jack,

There is a common theme running through here that no one seems to want to believe you
and no shortage of stock CVO's or hopped up CVO bikes either.

Why is that?
Are we all nuts?
I have a couple of CVO's and I would be the first to admit that niether
of my bikes would even come close to do what you says yours does.

breaking a tire loose in fourth gear (a very tall gear by anyones account)
would take gobs of power.

I have done that on a bike at 55mph, but it was on a Boss Hoss with a Chevy 350 small block
with 375 hp at the rear wheel.
Now that was fun and I know I was not mistaken on this.

1711tab,

Thank you for your service Marine ? (SEMPER).

I guess if everyone said "Yeah, I think you can do it too", wouldn't be any fun.

That not being the case, I guess you're in too ?

Don't really want to take a Marine's money, but find
4 others @ $20 and I'll send you each a DVD making it happen.

Is that 1711tab a drug I haven't heard of ?, or do you think you're helping me out ?

FLHTCUSE3,

"Now that was fun and I know I was not mistaken on this."

NOT MY WORDS !

So you're telling me you don't have any pictures either ?

And you're right, it only happened once, like you ?

But I have put 10,000 more miles on my bike which should make it much easier.

Anyway I see your name on the list for York ?

Please don't turn on your movie camera should we meet up on the road !

Just my expierence, but I have a 2002 Deuce. My stock Deuce clutch with modified motor lost bite well below 100 ft lbs of torque, so a forth gear power shift would let the motor rev pretty good without much acceleration. Felt very much the same as wheel spin, only no burnt rubber smell. A SE pressure plate combined with a VPC unit stopped that nonsense.

At about 102 HP and 106 TQ it would do a second gear wheelstand in the rain and throw up a rouster tail on wet pavement at the same time. It's now pushing out close to 115/115 and occassionally will pull the front tire up a little in third gear power shifts, but only an inch or so. Depending on conditions (sand, oil, or water) it will occasionally spin a tire in 4th gear, but only for a second or less. That's with a 180 or 200 x 18 rear tire. My guess is that a 4th gear tire spin (on dry clean pavement) of any magnitude on a Deuce would require it to be pumping out close to 125/135 hp/tq. That's just my guess.

Now, I just traded an 02 Sporty that would do wheelies in 4 out of 5 gears. It was a barely modified 1200. It also required "hot" pavement to bite enough for front end lift, otherwise it would spin in first four gears. We are only talking about a 500 lb bike with a skinny rear tire however. A Deuce is about 670? lbs without the rider.

Jimbob,

Thanks for the kind entry.

The one thing that seems to evade most everyone with a LITTLE MOUTH
is they haven't considered the fact that I am not talking about HP.

I'm talking about landing a shift @4500 rpm's that breaks the rear wheel
loose at the same time I have cracked the throttle.

Because most everyone with a LITTLE MOUTH has kept me busy with replies
no one has heard what happened when I slammed it back into 5th !

It slowed down to 50mph @4500 rpm's, because I backed off, slammed
into 5th, cracked the throttle again, got wheel spin about 2 full seconds
before it launched me to @95mph in about 3 1/2 more seconds.  The
Springer SE seat is the only reason I stayed on with its deep design.

It's true that I thought at first I blew the clutch or tranny is why I backed
off, still in full burn.  So I quickly decided to get a real warranty when I
slammed into 5th, for the launch then told me I was in full burn all thru 4th.

Somewhere there is a deadheaded old red flatbed truck driver out there
that nobody believes either. PA Route 22 E between Cresson and the Summit.
I noticed him watching me in his mirror when I pulled behind him in his lane,
while in full burn.  I took the shot which did take a few seconds to hook up.
I covered the length of that flatbed in about one second @90-95mph when
I had to shut down just as I passed him. Due to the fact that I couldn't lean
the bike to steer it away from the median I was headed for.

The MOCO got this bike right.  It appears that I am the only one who has
taken it to its outside edge.  Any 07's out there with 16,500 miles or more
living on the East coast?

Can't wait for the LITTLE MOUTH analogies on that 5th gear fact !

I plan on only doing this one more time, and maybe someone I like could
find a place to put the video stream.

Semper Fi, DUDE    (It's a good thing)

(I call my son Dude, it's an old SoCalifornia saying.)

Its a small dealer /but I do all my own work,I work on chevys for a living and bikes are fun for me to do.The head work on the bike was done by them meaning HQ  I ended up sending them the heads for a complete rework and jugs.the jugs were bored out by Hq to a 103" set up

It has  cp pistions in it ,Adj push rods Hq 600 cam it ='s  .600 lift on intake
.530 exhaust all james gskts and a .033 squish on both cyl's

this is a comlete set up from them,When you talk to doug he asks many question of what type of riding/rider and what you want from the bike.Very happy that I went this way,bin no regrets

I have to confess that I did spend a little time yesterday
to find the perfect spot to duplicate that experience and
put this on video (in the same area with camera angle).

I also keep reading into this whole 'Subject' and wonder
WTF where you guys are coming from ? based on what I
have offered freely and honestly as a 'Ride report'!

Basically 'Down shift, full burn, 5th gear launch' !

And I don't expect a CVO Bagger that weighs a lot more,
let alone the rider, feel the rear wheel break loose in 3rd
and now 4th to a lesser degree.  Just by cracking the
throttle in the power band.

When I bought this bike, an Ultra Classic was @$3k less,
but not my flavor.

I refuse to put a shield on this Springer because for me the
MOCO got it right the first time, other than my personal tweaks.
I ride hard and I need to feel the resistance at speed and use it
to back off.  Can't do that with a shield.

How anyone who rides a Bagger can come back at me with their
crap is surprising to say the least.

"Sorry" you made your choice and denied yourselves the
opportunity to have this crap thrown at you too.

If you have this bike, and you disagree with me, you haven't
reached its outer limits.

I heard this story about a guy with a beautiful CVO FAT
BOY ? maybe it was within this site.  It was at 'Carlisle'
in the burn pit.  This guy pulled his immaculate bike in and
burned until the rear tire blew, while the crowd cheered
their loudest.  He won the burn out contest. Probably
got a trophy, embarrassed his wife that he treated his
bike like that, after all the care that he put into it. (I can
imagine what she was thinking about their relationship
and the less loving care she was probably getting compared
to the bike.)  Well he also got the pool of money which didn't
cover the cost of the rear tire, let alone the time and effort
to put back the appearance he rode in with.

Sounds a little like the 'Romans and the Gladiators'.

Which brings us to this point !

I wanted to find out more on the H-D rings illustrated  in the
latest HOG mag and came back to this site and discovered
a msg I never read.  That led me to an old reply to an earlier
post that I felt needed addressed, $5000 was my answer to this.

Eventually, I talked to the 'Only person that matters to me!' about
this and was assured that there was no reason to pursue it.

My analogy:  In any society there are a small number of parasites
that exist on others good intentions.

BUT, I have to thank you guys, being a newbie for a couple of
years, in the past did work on me, but I got over it.  And this
subject has generated a lot of attention, to keep up I am not
a newbie anymore.  Thanks for that I guess ?

To down shift into a full burn ? Easiest $5 Grand I ever made!

Pretty stupid to get so pissed off, must be the coffee I drink !

Should the opportunity be afforded me to put this on
video, and you feel compelled to "Eat your words", please
donate to your local food bank instead of that new part for
your bike.

Lastly:

"HOIST PLEASE FORGIVE ME FOR GETTING SO PISSED OFF,
I WOULD LIKE TO DEMONSTRATE, JUST FOR THE HELL OF IT"

                              Semper Fi,

                                 Jack

Well Jack, the consolation is you are in the top five "active" threads today.  Amazing for a thread that never elicited a post from the intended target.

Sounds like it's mostly over though by your last post, a video would solve it though as you indicate.  Enjoy the ride!

Jack,
I would like to reply to you directly and maybe this will get thrown but you say that you are a Marine.  Honor was one of our 1 of the 3 Corps Values in the Marine Corps...  So why you full of CHIT on this one.  Do you not have a conscience when it comes to telling lies.  I don't bet my money as freely as you but I will give you a place and time to come and demonstrate this amazing bike, the CVO gathering in Eureka Springs here is the link so you can start making plans to attend.   http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=29353.0 While you are planning you should make an appointment at the local speed shop and get that bike hopped up so you can prove all of us wrong.  Nonbeliever you call us well yes I am but a BULLCHITTER fits for you.

Jack, I believe that YOU believe your bike will do what you claim.  However, when everyone else on this forum KNOWS this cannot happen on a stock Springer, it may be time for you to check what you believe at the door, and listen.  I have ridden a bike like yours, and I weigh about 180lbs, and I KNOW for an absolute fact that I could not break the rear wheel loose in 4th gear, regardless of how I shifted.  You have a clutch problem, or were on some weird pavement....period.  I've ridden a bunch of bikes, with all kinds of Power to weight ratios, and can confidently say that a high gear burnout would not have been possible on any of them.  Chirping a tire is one thing, but what you describe is simply not physically possible.  But, in the end, it's what you believe that is your reality, but obviously nobody else shares your reality.

Talking about this 'till the cows come home proves nothing.  Simply get a friend to video a drive by at the speed you indicate, do your immaculate shift, and the smoke from the tire will be visible to all, or at least the rubber on the road.  Post the video on YouTube so everyone in the world can see it.  Simple/effective.

Seriously, I respect your service to the country, but you've got some real issues to address.

That is the biggest load of crap I have heard in a long time.  Spinning the wheels in 4th gear at 55mph on a stock springer.   Guess what I was A Seargent in the Army and I don't "bullchit".  I have an on 09' CVO Springer softail with the race tuner and V&H big radius pipes and no way will it spin the tires in fourth not even my 09' vmax that has 170hp to the wheel will at 55mph in 4th gear but it will in 2nd.  Here are some pics for the non believers.

dozer,

Nice Vmax you got there, I'm jealous, I had one back in the nineties but decided to get rid of it before it got rid of me  :huepfenlol2:

I was totally insane on this bike challenging anyone who would dare to race me, stage 2 with full time V-boost I could lift that bitch in any gear and break loose the rear end at will, it actually took a lot of control to keep the bike on a straight launch without breaking the rear end loose, but after a few hundred races under my ass I could run circles around the competition.

Trust me, Your V-max can do this, its just a question of are you willing to push it to this point, any little oversteer could get that rear end fishtailling and send you high siding in the ditch, and I hate when that happens  :-X

My fellow MARINES,

I have removed the 'Marine Sgt' from the 1st post on page one of this subject only because I am quite tired of people with the lack of protocol slandering the Corps on my carelessness of putting it there.  And I wish those who have made mention in their reckless fashion remove theirs as well.

We as Marines exist in a very special class of People, and I have Honored this sanctity for over 40 years.

Why some people compare themselves to Marines without paying the price is beyond me ? Maybe they just want to post pictures?

Thanks for your service ? dozerdogue. If you were actually a Sergeant you would not have forgotten how to spell it at any rank, which makes me think this is not your bike as well.  If it was mine I would naturally have my hands on it, leaning over it for the pic, and the Honda probably not yours either. But you should notice the new one has a 240 rear tire, mine is 200, but you wouldn't have noticed because whats $30K anyway.  Glad they did that, keep it from spinning ????  Now you can go back and change the spelling as not to offend real Sergeants or anyone who actually protected free speech and your ability to do so.

My time in the Corps was brief, but there are those of you who are the FEW of the FEW like my son TODD also a Sgt. 2nd LAR 'Delta' Co OUTLAWS OEF 2004. A major factor in the Presidential Unit Citation they received for serving in Fallujah. 2nd LAR has served many times in El Anbar Province.

For those (not Marines) reading this: 2nd Marine Division Light Armored Reconnaissance Company 'D'

Also look up M249 SAW Gunner while you're at it. TODD was a mechanic/technician responsible for four LAV's, his fondness for weapons placed him as best Scout in 'Delta' Co as well.

My son has been decorated by the Commandant of the Marine Corps, had his NCO Sword ceremoniously presented to him by the Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps.  Not ever to forget mentioning, formally presented and awarded a Medal by the Secretary of the Navy because of his (TODD's) second effort to do so.  And, I was present in awe with many others for all three formal presentations.

In effect I don't take the Marine Corps lightly.

I entered this ARENA with $5000 and it still stands, and only because I have already done what some misguided souls think is impossible.

To the Marines and any Service Member I apologize for that mistake, but not for what I have HONESTLY posted as a ride report. I assure you that it is the only apology I will make in this ARENA.

Do I really care how many bikes someone has ridden and the hp ?, they haven't ridden mine for 16,600 + miles in just two seasons. I only mention this because someone who only rides a couple thousand a year learns to ride that bike all over again especially here in the East, where you can't just go around the block, for months at a time.

I was quite flattered the the Screaming Chickens have entered the ARENA but not some of that entry. A few months ago I came across some pic's of them in WASH. DC? and they stand pretty tall from what I can remember.  But again pretty much Baggers.

And really appreciate the warm welcome to come out and visit with you 'Screaming Chickens', but I can do this here one more time without any changes to my bike.

So I Googled you guys to find out more. Don't just put in 'Screaming Chicken' you would be supprised what comes up.

The only reservation I have ever had since this bike found a home was the day they dropped it off.  I hadn't been on a bike for over 20 years and the thought of flying thru the back of the garage was foremost on my mind when I fired it up & had to park it.

As (comparison only) a skater on ice needed  several thicknesses to concider when performing.  The speed skater needed the least thickness for ice support.  Weight dynamics of a fast moving object created the least stress upon the ice.  In effect I would think that spinning the rear wheel at 55 mph would be similar to those same dynamics.  And a 200 tire at a stop has a big foot print compared to 55 on the highway ! What's so hard to believe about that ?

Lastly, there are many new H-D bike owners out there that don't know that CVO's exist.  I don't have to tell any of you CVO owners that.  You have been explaining since you've owned one.  Most of you are Baggers or comparable. Now concider being a member of that club and misguided (owners ?) don't believe what I post ?  This is a joke on me isn't it.  Surely other 110's have done something like this by now.

The 07 FXSTSSE on the H-D site did show 2400 units. Divided by 3 (colors) thats 800.  But the MOCO went on strike during the production run.  According to my contacts this number is actually less, more like 500.  So those of you that have one, even those who haven't found this site yet, someone out there has done exactly as I have done.   So keep it off this blog, these guys don't need more than one to throw crap at !

Again I have to think that those responding in a negative fashion are only the loud minority.  There are those out there that know this can be done.  Its no big deal to them, not a big deal to me either. But when I returned recently, it rekindled my obsession, only to have crap thrown around because I wanted to share the facts about this amazing machine.

First off, I was an 11 Bravo which is infantry which I'm sure you already know is Light Infantry.  I went to Fort Benning Georgia in 1990 better known as Sand Hill to those who were in the Army and did my 6 years active by 2 years inactive .  Excuse me Mr. High and Mighty Marine, I guess I'm not worthy of being a so called Marine.  I was just a peasant in the CT Army National Guard.  I was a 60 Gunner as well as being part of the 50 Cal Crew team later on while in the service. As for the bikes not being mine I'll take any pose you want with me on them smoking the tires, all bikes lined up together or what ever it takes too make you a believer.  I guess some people have more toys than others. It's not my problem I work hard and can afford to have more than 1 bike.  In fact I'll go outside right now and line them up all together in my driveway with me sitting on the V-max or what ever bike you choose. HOORA!  Im the last soldier on the right side 2nd row up from the Drill "Sargeants".  By the way thanks for that clarification on how to spell Sargeant.  Maybe I should recite all my General Orders.

Sorry Jack I will keep my 100 for my next Vegas trip better odds on slots. I have 19,000 on my 07 and although I haven't tried this I wouldn,t be surprised too have it happen. Not enough fingers and toes to count the number of times I have been crusing along and went WFO and felt the rear tire break loose. My first rear tire was smooth as a baby rear end after 6700 miles tech walked by and asked if that bike so bad you have to run slicks on it? I said nope it so bad it makes slicks. It is the baddest Harley I ever had or ridden and I have had 5 Two 80 inchers with major work! You know what they say a fool and his money will soon be parted.
