The 2012's will be out in 6 months.....that means your greens will be a year old before delivery...and you'll still need to be ready for the paint issues.

I'd probably want my deposit back, and wait for a 2012.

you're right,
that's the reason why if the moco don't give me my kripto before 2012 annoncement, i'll change my order for a 2012 one ( and they will probably make a road glide CVO with the SESG 2011 evolutions  :-*)

Hi all

Went to the dealer Sat.  my salesman showed me a printout showing my Kripto SG scheduled for delivery Feb 11. He said the dates are updated often so it could change buy a couple days + or -.  He said they usually get trucks in on thursdays to the dealership (Tampa) which should put my bike in the dealership on Feb 17. That should be plenty of time to poke, prod and take mucho pics in time to make Daytona bike week.  That is assuming nothing goes wrong!!!!!!!!!!!

Questions to those who have a 2011 CVO SG. What controls the alarm system? Is there a remote? Is it audible also?

Your bike will come with 2 Security Fobs. This arms and disarms the bike just by being around the bike. I do not know the range. Lights will flash when it is armed and disarmed as the ignition key is turned on or off. My bike came programed with the audible OFF. You can program it to chirp if you like.

Great, looking forward to the pics on the 12th! :2vrolijk_21:

The security system is close proximety like the high end cars have.  You don't have to press a button on the fob, just it's proximety allows the bike to start.  It has to be very close, standing beside the bike or keys (and fob) in the saddle bag, etc.  I put mine in the windshield pouch at times......sometimes it works from there and sometimes I have to take them out of the windshiled pouch for a second.  I assume it's everything inside the fairing that blocks the signal at those times. :nixweiss:
