I agree! I'm old and fat, I need the bike to get the attention not me!

Makes for a tough decision between all three. This color for me originally was out but its becoming a serious contender. I think the gray engine and the chrome are going to make a hard to beat combination with the rich colored body tins.

I'm glad I have friends in place to help me get puck of the litter. I just need them to arrive at my supporting dealer.

Find someone that is going to Sturgis (many from this site are going) and ask them to take some pictures. All the CVO's will be on display, side by side at the HD tent.

They did the same thing in other years. For instance, in 04 they put out the Blue and Black first and those that wanted the orange and black had to wait until months later.

I'm thinkin that red one is going to be an incredably beautiful bike......give the orange and black 12 SESG a run for it's money.

Sorry JCZ these are all I took.
The speaker does not take up that much room in the saddlebag and the amp is not even a factor. I would have, should have taken more if I had known.

Honestly if you think you like it in the pictures you will certainly not be disappointed in person.

I was doing the math on what it would cost on trade with a tourpak added. This is a real stunner. The stereo system is phenomenal for a stock system.
They had the black one set up so you could crank it up.

If you look at the 2012 catalog there is no riders backrest mentioned for the 2012 SESG. This appears to be another major oversite if true.

Looks like the pillion (when on the bike) overlaps the seat and provides a kind of backrest for the driver.

The red is definitely an eye catcher!

Does anybody really keep the stock seat, anyway? Corbin will fix that problem in a heart beat. Now if they'd just start putting chrome calipers on those bikes!

I had a Corbin on my 2003 softail with the 240mm wide tire conversion kit by PM but I like the 2011 seat for my '10 SESG.

I had originally wanted the Slate/Black one. So that was the one my dealer was trying to locate for me over the last couple weeks. But last week I finally got to see a black one in person at another dealer. And thanks to the real pics of the Red/Maroon one I saw here, the red one is now the clear winner. Which just happens to be the color my dealer has coming next month.

All 3 colors have been mixed nicely IMO.
The 2 that jump out at me are Hot Citrus/Antique Gunstock and Ruby Red/Typhoon Maroon.

Here in Australia we have very limited options if any at all to see these premium models before deciding on a color.
Its great to see some decent pictures posted to give us an idea of what they look like out in the real world rather than images on a web page.

Here,s a shot of the Hot Citrus close up showing the flake.
If anyone has a chance can you take the same shot showing the flake in the Red colors.

Has anyone seen both bikes?
1. I am keen to know the colors of the pin striping on the Citrus and Red bikes.
2. How much flake does the Ruby and Maroon have compared to the Citrus and Antique. Rating from 1 to 10 would be a good indication.

When you're back down there will you please try to get some close up shots outside. One of the saddlebag (fill the whole frame with just the saddle bag), one of the rear fender and one of the front fairing.....filling the frame on each of the close ups with just the paint.

n your opinion how bright is the Ruby Red to Hot Citrus.

If we were to compare them to the standard colors what would be the closest colors to these customs.

Typhoon Maroon would be close to?
Ruby Red would be close to?
Hot Citrus would be close to?
Antique Gunstock would be close to?

I can then go to my local dealer and look at the standard color chart to get an idea of what I will be looking at in the flesh.
Gee its hard when you have no choice to see what you are getting and what to make sure the right color is selected when it turns up in 5 months time.

Although the pictures I have seen of the Ruby are fantastic, just need to see the same in the Citrus.

Yes, 1, 2, 3, are of the ruby red, 4, 5, 6, are the citrus, and 7 (obviously) is the slate.
