Got my black diamond a few days ago.  Everything was good except the left saddle bag speaker was not working.  Seems the amp channel is bad.

I did not check it at the dealership, I mean I listen to the music, but it was loud and sounded good, it was not until the next morning when I noticed when I put my hand on the saddle bag that it was not vibrating and was not working.

Awesome. Holding the bike at 3000 revs is hard but will be worth it.  :jalapeno: :jalapeno:

Clocked up a cool 160 miles aroundthe Sussex / Surrey hills today.  :jalapeno: There was frost on the ground in the Downs and the sun was shining. The HD heated grips were amazingly working  :jalapeno:  Dropped into HD Guildford and saw the last Black Diamond to be delivered in the UK, mostlikely as there are no more 2012 CVO SG rides available for the UK market. It's a european specced (KPH speedo and wrong dipping headlight which dealer will change to UK specs) but thats all the dealer could get a hold of for the customer. There was also a sold sign on a red CVO SG and a sold on a white CVO Road Glide.
Brilliant ride up through the Hindhead tunnel with some AC/DC thumping out of the sounds. Must read the manual on how to adjust those buttons. Jump on the bike and ride was my idea. The manual can be read anytime cannt it  :jalapeno: :jalapeno:

That CVO Skunk at Guildford was only on the floor for about 4 days before it sold, they certainly turn the CVO's they get at Guildford out really quickly ! You may have seen my Krypto in the workshop looking very sorry for itself ! Weather last couple of days has been really good for winter riding, can't wait to get it back  :cucumber:

I didn't spot your ride Paul maybe because I was looking at my old 2007 Road King Custom which Guildford had just bought back from the new owner after he had done 2000 miles. It was traded in for a Heritage as he didn't like the beach bars.
Did another 100 miles on the Beauty on Sunday visiting cafes.  Wasn't so cold and just have 250 miles before I can go over the 3500 rev limit.
Ride safe.

I know what you mean Peter with regard to the 3500 rev limit, very difficult keeping it to that. My mate is after a Road King, do you know how much they are asking & also if you don't mind me asking what did they give you for it in p/x on your Black Diamond.
Cheers & safe riding, Paul.

Hello,

I've got slate/black SE3 on order and have a few questions for you.  Could you tell me about the windscreen, who makes it, how tall is it, and does it work well?  Also, I noticed you had heat shields on your bike, how are those working?  Anything else you want to share including more pics would be appreciated..

Merry Christmas, Lou

That's a Fast Aire ~ Areo windshield 10". I've had several windshields ove the past 4 years and it works great, I sit up pretty tall. I can see over a 12" windshield.

I guess the heat shields help, it's still rather warm on the right side (on my calf).
