Saw this today in a gas station. Think it would pass a state inspection anywhere?

We don't have state inspections in Indiana, so it would blend right in around here. In fact, I've seen much worse on the roads since the economy took the big dump. Makes me yearn for the biannual state safety inspections from my early years in Virginia. Didn't even see burned out bulbs, much less stuff like this. However, for those caught up in the lousy economic conditions, it's hard to not feel some compassion. They still have to get around somehow; I just hope they don't kill someone while doing so.

Heck, I drove cars like that for years. Still would and not feel one bit ashamed to do so. The most important thing to me in a car is reliably not looks or what anyone thinks.

Some can be thrown with keyboard sequences. There's HTML code for most characters also. For direct input the easiet way on a Windows machine is to find a program under Accessories/System Tools called "Character Map." Find the character you need there than cut and paste where you need it.

If not doing it often the Character Map is easiest. If using an accented or other oddball character relatively often it's quicker to learn the keystrokes (if they exist for a given character).

Ah ha. Can you manipulate the keystrokes properly with 5 fingers on ea. hand or do they have to be customized to do this?

It doesn't work very well, you really messed up "master typer" really bad.
