If it wasn't the obvious players, so online to declare their innocence (never really trust that) you got be more sneaky than they were. 
* It is someone who knows your telephone number
* Someone who knows you well enough that they will call and giggle into the phone, and not worry that you will recognize the giggle
* Did you name the business you were doing business with on this site?  If not, that narrows the field to someone you have talked to via PM, eMail, or phone
* They know what you are having done, and what would hurt the most if indeed the part were to fall

Scrolled through the list after hearing the messages.  The tone (and the what almost sounded like a giggle in the background) had me suspicous.  One call was a blocked number.  So that was the culprit.

I thought it was a pretty good gag.  Especially after all the historical vendor hassles someone ought to get the credit for the effort .

Candy, pretty sure all those details had come out in dribs and drabs.  Also think it was all covered in one thread a week or so ago when the powder coated oil pan came back.  So no great detective work in gathering the details.

Lots of people here have the phone number too.  So while that narrows it down it does so to only, oh, 50 or more .

Can't believe no one has fessed up.  High ranking low numbers in EBCM for this.  Maybe movie rights.  Who knows!?!
