That would be considered "Global Cooling" or the coming of the next ice age using the same analysis technique.

Close to the same here, Chip.  We met Henry/Renae here yesterday (we rode the Vrod) and rode out to 29 Dreams for a GREAT Cheeseburger, then rode with them a while back towards their home in North Alabama.  Today is predicted to be 76 degrees...shirt sleeve weather.   When we've gotten cooler temps, there's been NO rain to speak of associated with it.

That High Pressure that's been sitting off the Southeastern Coast for the past few months is what is to blame...the temps are nice, but if we don't get some serious rainfall here this winter, we are going to have some REAL SERIOUS problems next year.  We rode over the lake our water supply comes from yesterday, and I have never, ever, seen it this low.  Water wars are on the horizon between Alabama, Georgia, and Florida.  20" deficits are going to be hard to make up over the winter.  My friend who has a small home on Lake Martin, just South and East of here, has not been able to get a boat in the water since April.  This chit is getting scarey...

But, it makes for some nice riding weather!!   :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21:

Global cooling must be the next movement.

I heard a DJ explain that Global Warming is the perfect secenario for a cause.

Too hot....global warming

Too cold.....global warming

I also heard 1934 was the warmest year on record.  What the hell, it's all weather to me....whether to ride or whether not to ride.

Looks like Chip has the best shot at rideing today :bananarock:

Ice storm here.  Trees broken everywhere.  And a crazy grumpy living parent who doesn't have power at her house and is really annoyed because of it.  It's the perfect frigging storm.... :confused5:

TC

On the way back from picking up Rogers SEEG we noticed a huge (huge being maybe thousands of acres) lake that was dry.  It was somewhere close to Greensboro on I-85. That is a very disturbing site to see. We need rain.

Weather in Oklahoma City sucks!!!  Freezing rain started early a.m. Sunday morning.  It's about 28 degrees - up to 1 1/2 inch of ice on everything - trees and power lines down all over the state.  Approx 250K households without electric.  Freezing rain is still coming down.
We lost power about 4:00 a.m. this morning -- We live out in the country, so when the electric goes out, that means no water either since the well pump is electric.  Had to move out to the shop and get in the RV.  Fired up the generator in the RV.

The drive to OKC this morning took a little longer this morning - tree limbs on the roadway, cars in ditches everywhere (glad I have the 4wd Dodge Cummins Beast).  Below is a picture from out in front of my office building in OKC at noon today.

On the bright side though, is should be back up in the 50's in a day or two...That's Oklahoma weather for ya!

I'm at my office with the bike right outside my window...

I can beat that Ernie!

I came home early to ride.

It's 82 here.

Lets see, what to ride? ? ? ? ? Can't ride that one over there with the good sounding Rineharts, no tag! (hehe)

I rode the SERG yesterday!

The Classic will be fine, yup and maybe later we will blast around the neighborhood on the scooters.

82 degrees, now that's amazing!

My Aunt and Uncle live out in Edmund, OK and she sent me pictures. That's pretty bad. It's 70s and balmy here.
