Just talked to OTIS on the phone.  It appears his Dr. prescribed the wrong meds.  >:( He said he felt somewhat better now, but would not be going home today.  :2vrolijk_21: Later--HUBBARD

Hang in there Randy!

Unfortunately diabetes is a disease that is often times difficult to manage via the new meds available now...so many interactions with other meds...this is all to common in my world...

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Visited OTIS in CCU this morning.  Very alert and talkative, just like the OTIS we all know.  Marlene said he had consumed 3-4 gallons of liquids right before his attack.  They said this is what happens when you are approaching the shut-down mode.  Thank God they caught it in time, or we would all be talking about what a Character OTIS was, seriously, and how much we were gonna' miss him.  He's going to get a new Doctor, obviously, and we all think he will be fine.  Dr. said he will probably get to go home, tomorrow.  :2vrolijk_21: They told me to Thank all of you for your Prayers, and continued support.  Later--HUBBARD

Very good news, Carl  :2vrolijk_21:  Even better news that he is getting a new doctor.  Diabetes is serious business in so many different ways, it is vital to have a good doc, eat right, and take the right meds.

Just glad they caught the situation in time, and that Randy will be heading home soon.
