And not just Chip either!  Henry, Terry and everyone else that's been going on the last couple of days about all the nice riding weather.  Buttheads !









Ok, I'm going to go cut more trees now.

Don wouldn't it be easier to use your hair drier and melt the ice off the trees before they snap.

That's been it.  Just passing back through right now to grab different clothes.  It's rained today with a few degrees higher temp so a lot of the ice has gone.  But it's block after block after block of trees that look like small artillery went off in them.  A real mess. 

Enough ice gone that could get up in some stuff this afternoon to begin felling more that's broken and didn't make it down.  Still a lot of lines down and transformers blown.  Yards and whole streets just covered with small and very large debris.  The only thing you can do with a chain saw in a lot of places right now is clear a path.  Make it out of driveways and down the middle of a residential street to get to a larger open thoroughfare.  Stuff is still falling so a little care is required.  But it's better today than yesterday.  Tomorrow will see some big improvement as crews start to begin catching up. 

Today, however, a lot of you are still just buttheads .

Wasn't aware of the ice storm Don.  Not much fun.  We had one 2 years ago and the woods and trees looked like a war zone.  It'll get better.

Don I don't feel a thing for you bud. Earlier this summer when a hurricane was hitting here you had no remorse for me.

Just to let you feel any better, I have been out on the boat for the last 5 days....catching rockfish up to 47.5 lbs.....in a tee shirt......not thinking about you one little bit......

Have to work tomorrow.....probably in shorts......but going Bluefin tuna fishing on Thursday and Friday....probably in shorts

Get the idea there Don.......who is not in shorts.....

Gone too far......NEVER.....

Don my guys in Joplin says that the WHOLE TOWN OF Joplin is without power    I guess so that they can take a couple of days off,  but I see you have logged on and posted,     soooo I guess I need to check that out.     I know that its bad up there as we have a lot of stores that have NO POWER as of yet,  David described it as if it look like a war zone with all the trees down like they have been hit with shrapnel.

Don take care of yourself BUT, just quityourb!t¢hen and go take care of MOM!

It's already on the way to better Bob.  Big assed mess, that's for sure.  Very little property damage though.  Post hurricanes or wild fires or tornados have shown far worse.  It's a mess, it's ugly, it'll pass.

Mike, there have been large swaths of the area without power.  What's been difficult for some businesses is that it has come and gone repeatedly in some areas.  Hard to staff and pay a shift when that's going to be going on.

As of tonight roads are mostly open again.  By tomorrow most business should be operating normal hours again.  Those that still aren't should be good to go by the weekend.
