I was talking with a bud today, who mentioned that he ate Mexican food last night and his wife ended up sleeping on the sofa… BUT HE DIDN'T CARE!

It struck me that these days I am caring less and less about more and more, but more and more about less and less.

I don't care that the Atlanta Braves finished the regular season at a sad .488 and didn't even get a NL Wild Card berth this year...

What do YOU not care about???

It seems to be the goal of the media clowns or the ones they carry the water for to make all of us care about things that most of us don't need to care about. I don't care about much of anything anymore, just too much noise in the world, but if I see another armadillo tearing up my lawn it will learn to care.

It's not that I don't care, I just don't worry about things as much anymore.  It's finally set in my old grey mater who is in charge of this world.  I let Him carry my worry.  Worry (or care in this thread's case) won't add one jot or tittle to our lifespan.  Matter of fact, it can take away from what we really should be concerned/care about.....God, love and life.
Doesn't mean things don't effect me or I give up on them/people, I just don't worry about it.

We got caught in a massive rainstorm done in PCB a couple of weekends ago. We were all completely soaked to the bone, but when we parked the bikes in the condo garage, we were all laughing and joking about it!

2 Rose, yes the RGC handles GREAT, I love it.  I also hate to see it go next month.  She's being replaced with a '15 RGU…  It will be interesting to see if I can ride the Ultra as good as the custom.  A little more weight, but should be doable.

Oh, and I also won some trophies at the HOG rally on British Columbia this year….

I DONT CARE that:

1. Some people like Sharks, while others like Batwings.
2. Some people prefer to trailer, while others prefer to ride everywhere, no matter how far.
3. Some people like to pile on the miles, while others prefer to ride many less miles.
4. Some people prefer to trade often, while others prefer to keep the same bike a long time.
5. Some people like to work on their own bikes, while others take theirs to a dealer for service.

Because not a single ONE of these things affect me in any way, and everyone has a right to do what they want. It's their money and time, not mine.

It doesn't mean that I don't enjoy reading about all some of these things, though!   

But what I DON'T UNDERSTAND is:

1. Why anyone would buy a new Harley without buying the ESP, if you ride more than a little and keep your bike past the 2-year warranty period.
2. Why anyone would mess around with so-called "auto tune" devices - instead of just getting a proper tune, with a proper tuning device, from someone who knows how to use it, from the outset... because a great tune involves a LOT more than just recording VE data.
3. Why the MoCo hasn't been able to deliver a decent compensator since 2006.
4. Why MY bike has the most f**ed-up, one-off wiring harness in the history of... FOREVER.

AND (wait for it)...




5. Why anyone would buy a Harley that isn't at least partially blue ORANGE!

Ken, Harley Davidson of Charlotte is the best dealer in my world. They told me I didn't need the ESP, and so far they have been right.  My two 110's are way past the two year warranty period but my dealer has always been true to their word so I believe they will take care of my 11.5 or 12 if needed. I am a very lucky man to have a dealer like this.
2. The reasons are, they don't know any better, they have more money than they have sense or they are not smart enough to  research what the best products are.

Yes, you are indeed quite fortunate to have a dealer you can wholly trust. I don't trust the dealers near me to do much of anything right, which is why Honey Badger never sees the inside of a dealer service dept.

Sad that the MoCo doesn't feel the need to engineer a decent comp, but a lot of people do trade every couple of years, so they never need to be concerned about it. It's us guys who keep our bikes that have to deal with it... 

And yeah, it's probably just me and my crazy-azz wiring harness... all of the others probably ARE just fine! I think they did it just to piss me off... but I outsmarted them by tying my NIM, 665, and other things directly into the right wires.

We have an accord regarding BLUE and ORANGE! I glad to see the MoCo finally figured out that combining these two excellent colors on the '15 SESG would be the best of both worlds. But, I would like to have seen the main body Molten Lava, with ULTRAVIOLET BLUE flames. That would be KILLER in the sunshine!

Oh well, can't have everything...

Yeah, I'm sure he could, Howard! But Honey Badger will never be getting a color makeover.

Although, it would be cool have Joe do up a KlockWorks Slicer front fender, and maybe have him put some Hot Citrus on the tops of the lowers to echo the rest of the bike's color scheme someday.

There was one pic on the Harley site in 2012 that had some yellow on the top of the lowers on a Hot Citrus bike, but it never made it to production. Looked really good though!
