Skipper,

Wanted to say it was a pleasure meeting you yesterday.  I appreciated your hospitality and having the opportunity to drop in, considering you had a big night ahead of you.  Hope you didn't get too hung over [smiley=drink.gif]  I'll post the picture Jody took when we get home and download the digital.

Also wanted you to know that I gave Fat Elvis a 1 hour spit-bath before I drove up to MASS to meet Naitram and WFP.  One brother seeing the mess he was in was bad enough.  He looked shiny enough for the long-distance photo opportunity.

Neil and Bill, what a great way to start a great day!

I will remember today for a long time.  Thanks for breakfast and a chance to meet.  That breakfast place was awesome [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Bill, great ride back to I-295.  I'll tell you, every town back here still looks the same and I got lost when stationed here in the 70's, 80's and 90's.  Thanks for getting me back to Providence in one piece [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Neil, thanks for posting the pix of us.  My cell phone camera couldn't come close.

Also thanks for the "new gadget" ideas.  Can't have enough chrome or enough gadgets.  Hope the guy on the cherry SEEG joins up.

It was a real pleasure meeting all of you today.  And thanks again,

Steve

You know I noticed that as soon as the pic hit the forum. Not only did you match the colors you even matched the order in which they are on the bike (Gold over Black) that's what I'd call "Big Pimpin'". [smiley=pimp2.gif] I like that. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

We just got home yesterday.

7,671.8 miles total.

As soon as I get everything straightened out here, I will post a few pictures of the trip.

This happened in Harrisburg, PA., two blocks from Susquehanna Valley Harley.  They got me in the next morning and replaced this with a swapmeet fender good enough to get us home.  Other than this, the trip was fantastic.

Got company here, but the short answer is a guy in the left turn lane in front of me, slammed on his brakes when the arrow turned yellow, because 2 hours prior, he got a ticket for running a yellow arrow.  I only needed 12 more inches.
