Can you imagine the view from that crane! Gives me the heebeejeebee's just thinkin bout it. [smiley=nervous.gif] Ya know, doesn't look like that crane would be big enough to lift out an excavator doing this size job. [smiley=nixweiss.gif] What do you think?

Called my Cat connection in Arizona and got some better pics. Excavator not as big as I expected. But what a view....Aerial view of Ladd & Associates installing rock anchors for the backwall on Pier 14 (Arizona Skewback) looking down from a man basket suspended above.  Bottom right corner of this picture is the Colorado River...approximately 650-feet below the level of this excavation.

Riding day 10:  This is some scenery in either Maryland or WV.

Aaaaaah!  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]  Blue Ridge mountains.  Even though I may be a displaced Canadian living in VA, it is starting to grow on me.  Seeing the country they way the two of you have is truly priceless. Thank you so much for sharing.  Prayers for your family.  See you on the road soon.
