Cams, tuning ?????
« on: March 10, 2009, 09:23:28 AM »

I have a 2009 CVO Roadglide.
The problem I have is that it doesn't seem to run as strong as my old 2005 roadglide. My 05 roadglide had a Power Commander and Rienhart tru-duals with a high flow air cleaner.
I installed a Power Commander 5 and a set of Cobra slip-ons on my 09. That didn't really seem to help much. In fact it diesn't seem have as much torque as before the installation.
I was told (by a Harley Service Tech) that I need to change the cam. I understand that the stock cams and settings are geared for environmental standards and not for performance standards.
Anyway, I am just somewhat disappointed in the overall performance and are looking for suggestions as to how to get this baby running like a true 110 motor and not a boat anchor.

Welcome to the site, nice bike! You should also read the thread below before proceding. The catalytic converter is a problem with any performance upgrade toy make.
