Thanks Terry! Chip actually sent me the info on these as well. Even if I end up staying with the PIAA's for a while, I think these would be a most welcomed addition!

Thank you very much for the input/info on the package deal with the rear! I didn't know about those. If I don't see you before, I hope to see you at Ribfest in May 2013!! Always a pleasure... :2vrolijk_21:

It is money well spent, Rob.  Here's an example of Custom Dynamics customer service:  In MV, Judy noticed that my tailight had some condensation inside it.  When I got back home, I sent them an email telling them about the problem, as the tailight is a sealed unit.  Without me having to send the old unit back, they sent me a brand new tailight in two days.  IMO, you can't beat that.

Sorry I didn't get to visit more in MV with you and Annette...always good to see you guys.  Hope to see you at Ribfest next May!!

I just picked my bike up after having the dealer install the new lights and I have two questions for any of you that have had the LED's installed on their SERG: When I turn the ignition to ACC, the small bar and shield should light up? Do I have to have the acc switch on the dash turned on as well to make it happen? Mine does not come on with the ignition to ACC and they did not give me the installation instructions back with the old lights. Does anyone know how long the lights are warrantied for by the MOCO? Thanks for anyones help here.

That was needed function so they would be approved in the International Market.

There is a lead from the lights that has to be hooked up to a wire on the light wire bundle (that is used for parking lights in europe) that I bet your dealer didn't do!

I was feeling good today and thought I would get that spare blue 01 SERG fairing down from the shelf in the garage. (the car garage)
Damn, I have to move the red scooters outside and the Mustang to get to the box and then get the ladder to reach it.
Sorry Brian not today.
It's raining here and the Mustang is Glared and clean.

I installed the LED's on my Skunk wednesday the 3rd.  Not to bad a job.  And yes you have to connect the small wire on the head light assembly to the acc wire.

There is a definite flat horizontal cut off to them.  They do reach out farther on both low and high beam.  The biggest improvement for me is the sides of the roads.  I live country, on hilly curve roads 20 miles out of town.  So they are a big help.  I may adjust mine up a little more.

I have several night rides on mine, and I am glad I made the change.  They look better too so that is an added plus.

My bike is at the dealer for some minor warranty work. Gonna have a set of the black and chrome installed. What do I need to do to get the garage door opener working again? It will not work anymore right?

Good deal over at http://www.lshd1.com/servlet/Categories for the LED lights.  $559.95 which is 20% off from dealer cost for all that are looking to change out current lights.  I ordered mine today!  just so that everyone knows where to get the best deal in town.

Nothing changed with my garage door opener when I installed the LED's on my Skunk.  The HD garage door opener still work great with the LED lights

Yep!  I've been a loyal customer to Lake Shore for a while now.  My LED headlights for my RG conversion will be here Monday.  Can't beat that price, with free shipping and no local sales tax.
