Q, when we retire and have a bit different travel schedule etc. the boxers may just be too big, how is Diezel in the bark department?

The only experience I recall with that breed was neighbors when i was a kid and their dog was pretty yappy and had little dog syndrome, charged everything, I think it may been the fact he lived with 5 children and discipline was most likely non-existant.

RJ,

Renea and I are thinking about a Boston as well.  Something about dogs with floppy flews.  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] I've never had a Boston, but I've met plenty, and liked them all.  Seem to be great little dogs.  I think that if brought up in the same environment you provide for your Boxers, a Boston will be a great dog.  Our only concern is we are so smitten with Boxers that we aren't sure we would want to be without them.  Oh well.  Plenty of time to dwell on the subject.  We'll enjoy our Boxers.

Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Henry

He is the best dog I ever had. He only barks when he sees other dogs when he is looking out of the window when the neighbors are walking  their dog. But I will warn you the breed are known for there loud snoring ,worse than Big  B at MV [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif] Very loyal and it is truly" The gentlemens dog" as they were bred to be. Oh and he is always dreseed in his formal attire for a evening out!  Later,Q

Mark,
My sisters yellow Lab weighs in at 105 and needs a life jacket to go swimming, looks similar to your buddy's new jacket except the life jacket has a handle to drag him up onto the swim platform.
