I have a sert I bought for my last bike and never installed it. I have seen some post about fullsac. Has anyone pulled the cats yourself if so how hard a job is it. I know on cars several years ago we took big screwdrivers and knocked the guts out of the cats. I'm not sure if they are made the same way.

Somewhere I've seen photos of how much CAT material (a LOT) is left if you don't cut open the header. For my 2 cents, I would send the header to Fullsac. It's not expensive and the flow (and heat reduction) is much improved when the CAT is completely removed.

I agree with Michael. Do it right and remove all the material.

I have a set of 09 headers I could use would just have to weld in some bungs to relocate the sensors, but as I am typing this I realize that would looked rigged. :(

MUCH less trouble, unless you have a welder, cut-off wheel, air chisel and about an hour or more of time!
