Update:
Well....., got a "cookie cutter" response from the Obama camp. Nice email, but more of a explanation of why they sent such a response. I guess he is to busy to worry about individuals. :nixweiss:

It's your vote. :nervous:

Update:
This idea gave way to a better idea. Both Obama's and McCain camps (websites) have been quiried with this very question of the IRS.  Let's see what happens. :2vrolijk_21:

Have you sent an email to the Oprah folks?

I understand not being from your state, may reduce your importance to this plight. But any help would be appreciated. This is a problem for all citizens of the U. S. A.

Thank you for looking into this matter.

Exactly what are you looking for?
If you don't mind me asking, exactly what is your problem or concern in this issue?
Are you looking for some one to "spank" the IRS?
Are you looking to get your financial problem resolved?
Is this a money issue or a pride issue?
I would like to help but I just don't understand what your asking for!

SBB,

I will try to answer these questions in the order they were given.
1) If we are going to be governed by codes and laws, everyone should be on the same page. They (IRS) were not.
2) Spanking a child sometimes corrects the behavior of that child, in the case of adults who should know better, the procedures and directives have to be reviewed.  This is required to prevent incidents such as this, from happening. There is a hierarchy that should be aware of the incidents by whatever means that are available.
3) The financial issue hasn't surfaced as of yet, Tax Masters are my interference runners. I should know sometime in the near future.
4) That one is tough to answer, it did twist my nose a little by the underhanded method used to get my attention. Money issue can be worked out. My bad is I wasn't aware of the Trust tax contributions to the U S Government when recipients receive Discretionary Funds from Trustees.  You as a person, when born, are not given a Owner's Manual on Life. So there are a few things missed.

I appreciate your offer for help. I suppose the best, that could be done, would be to alert others to the pitfalls of our present Treasury Department.  Their power is enormous. I would hazardously say to the level of non controllable by the Three Branches of our Government.

I appreciated the questions. :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21:

Update:
Thought I would share this last email.

Dear Friend,

Thank you for contacting me about reforming our nation's tax policies and
restoring fiscal responsibility.  I agree strongly that we need to reduce the
tax burden on middle class families while taking the tough steps needed to make
sure that the federal government lives within its means.

The advancement of individual opportunity – the chance for everyone to join the
middle class, regardless of birth – is basic to both the history of our
country, and to our economy.  We believe that there’s a place for every
American's dream, and our tax structure must help people reach their goals by
rewarding work, rewarding companies that play by the rules and keep jobs here
in America, and supporting economic growth.

I’ve introduced detailed proposals to make our tax code favor work instead of
just wealth, to help homeowners and seniors, and to simplify tax filings so
that millions of Americans can do their taxes in less than five minutes.  Under
my plans, working families will get a tax credit of up to $1,000; low- and
middle-income homeowners will get tax relief, and seniors who make less than
$50,000 per year will pay no income tax at all.

And I’ll pay for these proposals by eliminating special interest loopholes,
corporate tax breaks that serve no national interest, and tax havens, because
we can’t leave a legacy of debt to our children and grandchildren.  To learn
more about my plans and read my tax fairness speech, please click here:

http://www.barackobama.com/2007/09/18/remarks_of_senator_barack_obam_25.php

Instead of honoring that core American value – opportunity for all – we've had
a system in Washington where our laws and regulations have carved out
opportunities for the few.  I will restore fairness to this system so that the
government collects the revenue it needs to operate without penalizing people
who are working hard to realize their own American dream.  You may have also
heard false rumors about my tax plans.  To read and help spread the truth,
please click here:

Thank you again for contacting me.

Sincerely,

Barack Obama

I like to thank all for the support, it was gratifying.
At least there weren't any coloured words.

But here is the latest.

Status Quo is OK until delivery of Tax Return forms are hand delivered to the IRS Office.
The nearest office is Hagerstown, MD. That office is approximately 30 miles from me.

There is survival after the Treasury Department's IRS.

Oh!.... Did I mention all on my own without Political help from Senators....Congressmen.
Only the Paid hired help did this for me.  Tax Masters. :2vrolijk_21: :nixweiss:

For anyone interested in how to come out smelling like a rose after hitting the big $hit wall.  It is very trying for even a strong individual.
So far the expense has been $11,700 to Tax Masters to keep clear of IRS and to get this all straighten out.
I would recommend the first post with no doubt.
Since there was a whole lot of underhandedness done, The IRS and I have a future Federal court date. This will follow when the dust settles from tax returns. I will be Challenging and charging them. I'm Pissed.

Update as of today 09/14/08.

Tax Masters ( who have been hit by "Ike") have done a very good job to keep it together.
On the other hand, the IRS of the Treasury Department hasn't done so well. Their left hand doesn't know what their right hand is doing because the center (head) is not connecting the dots. That is the long and short of a recent inquiry to Andover, MA has displayed. Their main computer network doesn't stay up to date.
What I'm saying is, you can be in one part of the country, and move to another part of the country, years later inquire about tax returns, power of attorney transfers, and etc. and end up having to call a lot of people due to the lack of system updates.  Ergo, left hand, head, right hand disconnection.

Just thought I would pass this on any of you that might have future encounters.

Oh... another thought, there is a misuse of power by the RO's(Revenue Officer) and RA's(Revenue Agent).

I am hoping these findings will be of some use to the Forum.

Ride Safe, Enjoy the Freedom....You never know.
