twolane, alls I can say is SWEEEEEEET!!!!!!! [smiley=biggthumpup.gif] Glad I got to see how that horn cover looks, I got one of them comming. Curious why you changed grips when you put the Chubbys on. Also like the sphear on front fender. Your bike is beautiful. What exhaust system you got on? Does it sound as good as it looks? Thanks for the pics. See ya     JR [smiley=beerchug.gif]

The grips were by no means an esthetic choice.

This is to answer a PM in case anyone else is interested.  Going to answer a bit more than was asked specifically just to cover the bases all at once.

The chromed bolts on the passenger pad brackets and the shift arms and the different chromed banjo bolts on the master cylinders and front calipers are just individual hardware pieces.

Exhaust?  JRud, it's the Vance & Hines "Dresser Duals" (I think that's what they call them) and the White Brother's E Series slip ons.  It's a little louder and a little "deeper" than the stock exhaust system.  Not so loud you can't still use the radio on the highway (especially if you already know the words to the song).  But close.  I happen to really like both the depth of the sound and how loud it is.  For my tastes it's a good choice.

I happen to be a fan of true dual pipes on baggers (just my tastes) and the mufflers are ones I've had good luck with before, are easily tunable, and the dyno guy I like to work with likes them too.  So it's a trifecta.  That I think they look good too is just a bonus.

Great pics 2lane.  Really like what you've done with the bike.  Any chance of letting us know where you got the eagle kickstand?  Have not seen one like it.

Eagle kickstand?  After I got mine I actually then noticed them in a few catalogs.  Actually bought mine off the floor at Patriot HD in Fairfax, VA last summer during a road trip.  Just did a quick search online at J&P's website and found it as their part number 530-032 .  They're asking $270.00 and I'm pretty sure I remember paying $220.00 at Patriot.  So you might just want to give them a call.  Figured a Screamin' Eagle bike deserved an Eagle kickstand though.

One important though, assuming the piece in the catalogs is the same thing that Patriot had the lean angle supplied by this kickstand is perfect for the slightly lowered height of these SEEGs.  No problem there at all.

Well 2lane....I'll bet you're getting real tired of this....where did you get the leather bags that appear to snap on to the lower storage boxes.  Promise...this will be the last question....maybe!

Twolane; Looks Great. When you did the handlebars did you have to change anything else but the brake line, and did the 2 inch over stock brake line for the roadking work ok?  Also, how much trouble was it threading the wiring through the new bars? Is there room enough in there for anything else, like heated grips?  Thanks

The pipes are Vance & Hines "Dresser Duals" and the mufflers are White Brother's "E Series" slip ons.  Some websites (Porker Performance among others) are starting to call them "megaphone slip ons" also.

I like the V&H pipes better than the Samson "True Duals" I'd used previously on other bikes and the V&H pipes are quite a bit less expensive too.

Actually my first thought was that "it's a bike I won't have to do nearly as much with."  And that's proved to be pretty accurate.  Thank god..... [smiley=beerchug.gif]  [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]
