Don't forget, I have the Saddlebag liners from the 2006 that I traded in...they aint new, but the work well...

I also may be able to help you with the CVO cover you did not get...I still have that from the trade-in also that I was going to keep as a spare but may be willing to part with...

so Steve, can you give us the ride report?  What is better or worse than the Honda?
I found the weight was more, the ride was better, the power was substantial, even though the number did not support the feeling and the ain't I cool factor was waaaaay up.

Well got a real ride in today on it.  360 miles.
Sign me up for a new seat  :-\

Neal helped me adjust the rider backrest forward 1 notch at Bill's suggestion.
That did help with the reach.  I still think I need the bars to come back 1-2 inches towards me and then I will be more comfortable.
My biggest concern with the ergonomics so far has been a non-issue.
Tomorrow is another day and we will cross into Canada so we will see how back to back days go.

The difference between tomorrow and today Steve is that today you hadn't ridden 360 miles on a stock 05 SEEG seat.  :P

Well I know what I am in for in the seat department, I ment the back, neck & sholders after 2 full days on the road.
Thoese were the ergonomics that kept me from doing this sooner.
When I did some test rides 2 or 3 years ago, I was in pain in under 5 miles. So 360 is a major thing for me.

Anybody got a jel pad you can borrow. It'll put you up a bit higher, save your butt a bunch of %^*&*&^%&^*& and put you closer to the bars

Ok Ok you got me.
Let me start this over.
Since the bike went on the road Monday I have only done 30-40 miles per day after work.

Today I hit the road at 7:15 AM and called it a day at 6:45 PM.
This was a leasurely ride up the eastern coast of NH, ME and am now less than 5 miles from the Canadian border.

True we could do 300 before breakfast on some of our rides, but this wasn't that kinda of ride.
