Now: "The rest of the story"

I was at work one day back when my son was +2 years old. He was in the garage playing with his tool set. He took out a "toy" hammer. Back then toys were made to last so it was made of metal.
He hit the gas tank 33 times chipping the paint and leaving small dimples like hail damage.

His mother (my ex) could not explain how he got 33 strikes in before she could intervene. I sat down with some Jack Daniels and reflected for hours!

In this photo, I just reminded him what he did to that gas tank 23 years ago.

Since the son is gone to drill weekend, it was time to show Eve some love too.

The S&S tear drop air cleaner cover is nice but a little bare.

So I dressed it up a little bit. Besides she is now a screamin eagle even tho Screamin Eagle's were not made until she was already 15 years old!

Last fall my son crashed while we were out riding. He was on his (my old) 84 FXR. Got into a curve to aggressive. Down they went. My son landed on his head. Since his head is from my family tree, he was fine. Scooter..not so much
