AJ,

I just got a F4customs.com windshield last week and it is AWESOME so far. It is Lexan instead of Acrylic. It also has a scratch resistant coating on both sides of the windshield.

Mark had a thread on that sheild somewhere about how they sent him a sample along with a piece of steel wool. One side was coated and the other wasn't & it didn't scratch.
I was interested in the Klock Werks because of the look. I had wanted a short shield for around town but the KW appears to fill the task and then some if it werks (pun intended  ;D).

RedDevil,

I have the 9.5 "Smoked" they only offer clear and smoked.  The Lexan material of the windshield is coated on both sides with a scratch resistant product. they even sent me a sample coated on one side and steelwool to see the differance it makes. Check out their site at   www.f4customs.com

AJ,

I run the 9.5 and it is good to keep the wind off, but I will get a 6" next time to get more airflow over the shield.

The real question here is: what is Mark doing up this early?

Thanks Mark...I'm looking for a "commuting" shield to replace the wind deflector on the Street Glide when I get it, and this sounds like it might just fit the bill.   :2vrolijk_21:

I know I like mine better than some of the other "bargain acrylic" shields I have. They are cool looking but you get what you pay for!

That's a fact...the F4customs shield sounds like it would be perfect for my daily commute up I-95, the semi-stone-throwing road of the nation.
