Klock Werks new BATWING FLARE windshield

8" flare on streetglide, Rider is 5'6" tall.

Sitting up straight the shield is below his line of sight.

When slouching the shield comes into his line of sight.

Their new 180 kit. "We went to great lengths to make sure our kit used a belt in the stock frame and swing arm with no primary offset or special inner primary. It uses the 1" bagger belt.

I wonder if the three pouch fairing mount pouch fits with the shield??

Looks cool, but, being 5'6" myself, there's no way that would work well. I had a Windvest sheild on my old bike and when I hated the distortion when looking through the 'curved' part of the shield. The curve on this one looks worse than that and can't see how well it would work looking through this shield.

Thanks for the info Puzzled.

I have seen pictures of this same windshield on the HD-Forums website, I think someone over their makes them or designs them. A buddy of mine told me about it some time ago saying that the guys over at HD-Forums said it was the best windshield you could get. I remembering checking in to it before I got my Fast-air saying that the double curve shield was but ugly and would never be on my bike. I totally forgot about it till I saw your pictures, boy its funny how it looks better now.

I don't remember Klock Werks being involved in the project then.

I do remember reading on HD-Forums where they were having problems with the mounting on the batwing fairing, sounds like there was a lot of stress due to the pressure put on the three screws. I don't know if the windshield design was changed or they tightened the screws down too tight (common problem on the eg fairing). As I said earlier I didn't like the look of the double curve but as I am starting to remember the curve might have stuck out farther on the one I saw over their.

Who makes those rap around pipes and can you tell what kind of performance specs they have?
