I'll even do better then that... You'll get better weather then you are having now when you move on down here and start working at CFD. :2vrolijk_21:

I'm going to make out like a bandit.... I'll get a friend (close by) that is a hell of a wrench and can show me how not to *^&( up stuff. :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2:

WOW!   :2vrolijk_21:

Free boots and a job offer.  When I was a youngster, I dreamed of being a fireman!!  I already have a dog...I'll bring him along!  He'll like riding up top next to me. (I get to drive, don't I?)

What a day!  I think I'm going to go buy a lottery ticket!!   :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21:

You do..... but not the first day.... you have to learn how to operate it first. :2vrolijk_21:

Hell if you get lucky w/the lottery you don't have to take the job you can just move here. Either way I make out like a bandit. :sneaky:

I have a pair of the Danner's, almost worn out. Used to like the regular Danner's but they are heavy. I have to agree with JC, the Swat boots are more comfortable and they are lighter. Wish I didn't have stout short legs so I could wear the taller waterproof ones. Have to look again but when I got mine the waterproof short ones were discontinued.
If you get the opportunity check out the Danner's I've mentioned and let me know how they compare to the SWAT boots. This specific model of the Danner's are the lightest boots I've ever worn.

I'm in the market too; have been reading many praises of the Cruiserworks. The 2868 called the Short Zip boot is the one I am after. They are a little pricey but I have worn out 2 pairs of Harley El Pasos in the last 2 years and want to try a step up in quality. Made in USA too. Ed

I have a pair of these also they are great. Have worn them in the pouring rain and have never leaked a drop.

Patent pending EXO™ Lite platform combines the shank with the under foot protection plate and the outside guardrail heel structure for maximum stability.
Lightweight and durable leather and fabric upper for breathability.
8" height for ankle mobility and an athletic feel.
42 oz.

I have their Classic (engineer style) boot and won't wear anything else except their Defender lace ups that I also have.  I've had the Classics several years and have had them resoled twice and they are still in great shape.  Best boot I've ever had bar none.  They are vey lightweight and comfortable all day long, day after day and I wear them when I'm teaching Rider's Edge class and that involves a lot of walking.  I have found that they run a little small so you may want to order at least a half size bigger than normal - this assumes nothing has changed with the change in owners and manufacturers.  Might want to ask before ordering.

I've worn Cruiserworks for about 8 years or so and can't imagine a more comfortable boot and at the end of riding all day in the rain my feet are bone dry.  I wear these boots year round.  When you're traveling you don't need to bring any other boots/shoes as these are comfortable enough to wear that night too.

About a year or so ago I saw a pair of Brown HD boots at Sears.  I tired them on to get the right size figured out as every manufacturer seems to size differently.  Then I went to BootBay.com ordered the same ones there for about 25 - 35 less.  They are OK, nothing to rave about.  Going to check out that swat boot mentioned earlier in this thread.

I have three pairs of Original SWATs; Two pairs of Original SWAT Air 9 boots. One pair is the insulated waterproof version.

Hands down, the most comfortable boots I have ever owned.

Search Google, ebay and Amazon. I recently found my third pair; NEW Original SWAT 10" Tactical 1262 boots on ebay for $15.  :2vrolijk_21:
