Jim, looking at the number of views of your question without replies, I suspect you may need to ask a clearer question.    :nixweiss:   I am easily confused so take my comment with a ton of salt.  I've swapped out three sets of cores and drilled the cats so maybe I can help.  Jim Kerr also posted threads which were very helpful and had photographic instructions.

Can you be a little more precise of just what you ordered? Maybe we can help.

Jim might be asking of Fullsac's true dual head pipe for pre 09 Touring bikes that eliminates the crossover and you put in their pipe on the rear jug to make true duals.  If that's the case, the hardest part is seperating the crossover pipe from the front pipe and lh pipe.  I believe there is a how to on their website.  Let us know so someone can help.

sorry guys, I ordered the modified stock headpipe with the cat cut completely out, I will be swaping this out for the stock one and shipping the original one back. I was just wondering if any one has done this, if they had any pionters on the swap or input on the performance or fit and fininsh of the modified pipes. thanks

Unplug the O2 connectors, Remove the right floor board, unbolt the stock system starting with the mufflers, Then reassemble. The cross over simply r&r's with a soft tube gasket.  :drink:

what kind of bike is this going on? if removing the O2 sensors you'll need a special tool from HD to do this, do not use a wrench. i made one myself but thats just me. other that this, make sure the head pipes are seated in the gasket well, (get new gasket) and make sure you torque it. the headpipe that is

I think you will be able to remove your old headpipes and then slide a boxed end wrench over the wire connector of the sensor and then remove the 02 sensors.  If not, go to Autozone etc and buy you a 02 sensor socket (which is split down the side for the wire to pass thru.  Put antiseize on the threads when you reinstall the sensors in the new pipe(s)..
