Guess I'll call the dealer tomorrow.

e-mailed the dealer .They do not know nothing .
Germany is far away from Milwaukee - very far .

Thanks for the heads up.  I am also on the list with a 3/31/09 purchase date.  Might as well figure out what more accessories I can have them add since I'm going in anyways!!

Mine made the list as well.  Has anyone talked to a dealer that knows about the reacall and what the fix is going to be?

Just checked mine and I made the list....    I am supposed to have it in later this week any way.... I will just give them something else to do!

Mine doesn't appear to be on the list

 Mine made it on the list- purchased in March 09-  and maybe at the same time they can replace the rear left turn signal that quit working.

Typical Harley I just called my Dealer and NOTHING listed on HDNET for the recall. They can see the recall listed against the bike.

I just called my Service Manager too and he wasn't aware of it but was going to check on it and call me back.

The headquarter Mörfelden in germany only have a recall listed upto 139 .
 They do know that a 140m is on the way but that`s it .
Checking the wheels is possible with two methods :
by X-ray means minimum 10 pics per wheel and one pic would be about 100 Euro plus removing the tire and the wheel and mounting it back - too expensive for them .
Penetrating is only possible with non-chromed rims .

One frontwhell is available but it is not sure whether it is ok or not and a rear wheel is not here in germany yet .

Next week i want to start a 3000miles trip to Mallorca .
Should i cry ?
or ignore these facts ?

Sorry Brad.

I'm 23 minutes late in replying.
I just called my service manager and he didn't answer, then I remembered they have a staff meeting every Tuesday at 10, so I'm sure he will call me back. I will post when he calls.
