Paul,

Welcome to family, we're glad you joined us.  You have made a wise choice on you first Harley, although your choice of color is a little questionable.   ;)

Your in for a sleepless night and a penniless summer.  Enjoy!  :bananarock:

Ride Safe,
Ghost

A Great Big CVO Welcome to you PaulNOhio.  My husband and I are going to take the first ever in our married life times - a three week motorcycle vacation this July.  Heading from Virginia to Nelson, BC.  It be great if you and your wife were heading that way too and the same time.  We are planning for a Columbus, OH as being our first stop on our trip.

Ironically, we were talking about it last night.  I think it would be a great trip and opportunity to meet new people.  My bike is all cleaned up awaiting pickup tomorrow morning, and I am sure I will not be able to get a wink of sleep tonight.  Anyway, I am from Covington, VA originally and Columbus is only 1 1/2 hours away from us.  Stay in touch.

I sure hope your right!  It looks like partly sunny w/a small chance of isolated showers and a high of 70.  So, could be better....and, could be worse.  Bottom line, she is coming home with me tomorrow regardless ;D

Ya'll quit talking and start the planning and getting reservations.  This is going to be the CVO international event of the year!  You know you want to be a part of it.  Covington is in a very pretty part of VA. Not too far from FireD00d's place.  Love riding in that part of the BlueRidge mountains.  I am not at all familiar with Ohio riding.  My husband spent a great amount of time there.  In Licking county if I remember right.  But we have family in Columbus and we are pretty excited that we can make their home town one of our stops on the big trip.  Looking forward to seeing your names on the 2007 Western CVO Gathering in Nelson thread - SOON!

Hello to all of my new friends :bananarock:.  I will be picking up my 07' SERK this saturday.  Its black (had a really tough time deciding between the black and red) and has 5 miles on the odometer.  Look for me on the road as my plate will be "ICHOT" since the black paint is called 'black ice'....my other half thought of that :nixweiss:.  Anyway, the bike has been at the dealer for less than a month, so I am hoping that it received the updated flashes.  This is my first Harley and am proud to be a owner (am member of this forum).  Been in the Army national guard now for 10 years and have worked federal corrections for 7 years.  So, a big hello again to you all and I look forward to seeing/talking to many of you in the near future.
Cheers  :drink:
